small pet peeve
This is a very good product overall. We just recently completed the basement and wanted to add a phone downstairs (we already had the main base system and two other phones). However there is a small pet peeve: we have caller ID and records on this phone when we missed a call but it does not clear on all phones when you review from one phone only. You have to go to each phone and clear the records manually. It can be confusing since you might have already checked on phone #1 and then later on phone #2, it is still shown as a missed call. Nice feature: no need to get an intercom system when you have these phones. We have one on each floor and I can use the phones to reach others on the different floors of the house. That is very handy and since these are cordless, very efficient too.

Needs improvement
For about a month, I've been using this system with a total of 3 handsets for VoIP. Sounds great, I like the feel and some of the features like speaker phone and talking caller ID. Here's what I'd add/change:When one handset answers the phone, the other handsets should not display a missed call. One handset should be able to erase all the other handsets missed call log.The handsets should display the time and date. The handsets should be able to supercede the caller ID. Meaning: when the phonebook is programmed with a friends work number and the handset receives the call from the friend, the company's name displays instead of the friend's name in the phone book.Single button dialing to the carriers voice mail system. Doesn't make much sense to press the VM button and then the talk button or vice-versa.

technically challenged
I thought this would work with my panasonic system. I went to panasonic site to compare and get manual for my model and it appears this should work but so far I haven't figured it out. It requires full concentration and a block of time. I will keep trying. I may have to pay for tech support. I wish the description would have pointed out precisely which system would work with this. It also should have come with the former owners call numbers erased!

Panasonic KX-TGA520M favorable review
I have been delighted with the performance of these handsets. Our compatible base unit (KX-TG5240) allows a total of only 4 to be registered. Wish it could register more!Thank you for the prompt and safe delivery.

It works great with our existing base unit which is several years ...
We bought this to replace a unit that had a "sticky 2". It works great with our existing base unit which is several years old so it was nice to not have to get an entirely new phone system.

Easy expansion
I bought the original 5200 with the standard 2 remotes. We moved and the floor plan made it necessary to add a third. I may add a fourth in the future.

Great Phone with good range and features
I have had this phone set for over 5 years with great service. Purchased a replacement phone for one of the handsets that went bad. The replacement (used) phone was received quickly and works perfectly. Will purchase another if needed. This is a great phone.
