Rules for Gentlemen: A Code of Chivalry Drawn From the Rule of St. Benedict

This is so well written, and as in most times, much needed. I have had my 7th and 8th grade students read both books and they were well received by them.

The book is worth its value. It summarises and collects references and principles from the Bible that the author genuinely believes in and I see he has attempted to be very thorough in this regard. It is useful for any man, young in particular.The book would benefit a great deal from the addition of sections containing ettiquette, e.g. the bearing of kerchiefs for ladies in need, pulling out chairs for women before they sit. I think this book would fulfill its title by having such a section or sections being added.
