Severin S'Power Zelos Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Midnight Black

We have one family member who suffers with ASD and sensory problems. Loud sounds are very hard for him so we decided to try this vacuum for our hard floors. Very impressed with the quality and power of the unit and especially how quiet it is. All vacuums have motor noise, but this is the most muted I've ever heard.. you can talk to someone while using it without screaming.Does a fantastic job on our hard floors and if you have very low pile rugs, those can get the surface dirt too. I use the brush attachments for vacuuming pet hair off of a couch and doing baseboards and window sills too.Loved it so much we bought out son one for his apartment too as he has 100% hard floors.If this company made a solid upright for wall-to-wall carpet, I'd be looking at that as well.

So this has been the most satisfying vacuum we ever owned and only used on hardwood floors. One day after I used it almost 4 years since purchase, it died. The light goes on but nothing. I’ve tried to reach out to Severin 4 times for assistance but never heard back. I’m handy enough to take most things apart and put it back together so I tried to see if maybe there was a blown fuse or something. No fuse but a small circuit board. I tried finding one but couldn’t. So after a few weeks of trying and wait for severin, we decided that maybe this was just bad luck. My wife liked the vacuum so much we bought another after doing a bunch of comparisons and in line shopping. Now hoping it doesn’t die again after a few years. These things are supposed to last much longer “ I hope “.

I used about 5 times and it died. I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!! this was supposed to be a back up vacuum. wasted my hard earned money on a piece of junk. do not buy!

My old Miele compact vacuum broke and I needed a quick and more affordable replacement. Even with much lower available power of 650 W, the suction power seems actually higher than my old 1000 Watt appliance.Light weight and super silent.Only tiny little downside is that the accessory nozzles are not attached on the vacuum, they come in an extra bag.

I don't write many reviews, but this product prompted me to write one. We typically buy a new vacuum every 2 years or so after they break. Rather than spend $100 on another throw away vacuum, we decided to give this a try. Man oh man are we pleased! This is truly a well-built, well-engineered piece of equipment. It sucks like nobody's business and boy is it quite. My whole family, even my teenage son, enjoys vacuuming the house with this vacuum. It is truly amazing. Even the attachments are engineered very well, the fit is awesome. The filters are not the cheap paper ones, they are fabric. It has two internal filters, a HEPA filter and another one for the motor. I was vacuuming drywall dust with this and it was so clean and quite, its really amazing. Buy it!

Love this vacuum cleaner. This is silly but I love that the plug is red. It’s quiet and easy to use. Fascinated with the unique design. Not really heavy and a nice size-not too heavy.

The vacuum works great on bare floors and the suction is good. I've tried it on carpeting and it doesn't work that well at all. I found I had to go over a spot several times to pick some things up. It doesn't have a brush that rotates/beats the carpet which I feel is on the downside. It is easy to pull from room to room, etc.

Nice and quiet but has fantastic suction that's adjustable for what ever you might be cleaning
