When the original was not operable, I ordered this in desperation! It works better than the original!

This remote was for a Promethean projector that purchased in an auction. These projectors don't work without a remote! (argh) I tried the phone app for IR remote that others had gotten to work with some models from Promethean but no go on mine. With this, batteries in, plug in projector and press on button and i was in business. I was able to access all the menus and setup the projector using the remote. Overall the price was low considering that I have a projector with great capability that was enabled by the remote. i suspect when i get the projector installed in my den, i will wish i had ordered two.

This product works great. Keeps me from having to 'borrow' from the room next to me.

Amazon shipped the remote very quickly and it works perfectly with the Promethean Board I use at work. It looks virtually the same as the original remote with all the same buttons and functionality and it feels pretty solid and not cheap. For me, It actually works better than the original because now I have access to the laser pointer function which did not work with my original remote. All this for less than the price to replace the original. Highly recommend!

Works great with the Promethean Board in my classroom. No problems at all so far. I had worried it wouldn't because it wasn't Promethean-made, but I can't even tell the difference. Highly recommend.

This remote does absolutely nothing. It won't even power my Promethean on like some others have had luck with.
