Doesn't fit in cans with pull tab lid
As long as you use a can opener that removes the lid, either the old school shear type, or the newer rim-pinch style this press will fit into the can. (The net 5oz size) Keep this in mind if your opener of choice is a P38 or a swiss army knife, keep your cut close to the lip. If you use the pull tab, the lip that is left behind interferes with using the press inside the can. Even though the press has an expanded groove around the top, this is not large enough to then go over the top of the can to work as a strainer. Smaller vegetable cans can be drained like this, and left standing upside down in the strainer to drip while you're doing something else. Bean syrup will probably be too thick to go through the holes, FYI.

Very easy to use.
Made well. Besides draining liquid from cans used as a strainer for other things.

It doesn’t fit cans of tuna which is annoying.
I’m sure it fits other cans somewhere… but it doesn’t fit the standard tuna can size here in the US, which is the only reason I bought it. It’s off just enough that you can’t press down and squeeze all the water out of the can. Annoying.

Perfect size
Very sturdy! Nice weight not too heavy. Perfect size strainer for a can of tuna.

Works fine.
Does the job. Decent quality but not super heavy or with very clean edges. 4 stars bc I think it’s overpriced for what it is, but it does the job and will hold up!

Works with all cans!
A great tool. It works even with pull top cans if you open the can with a can opener because by so doing you leave just enough space for this strainer to fit in.

Too large to work on aluminum topped cans.
The strainer is well built but it is too wide to work on a standard aluminum topped tuna can such as StarKist. This strainer was designed for use with steel lids that are opened with a can opener.

Great product, well worth the price.
This is one awesome kitchen gadget if you are OCD about germs on those nasty tuna lids.
