This gadget works perfectly. I run my phone and dashcam out of this gadget and it's just excellent. The magnetic phone holder couldn't be easier to fit, I put the corresponding magnet on my phone case and it all works beautifully. There is even a spare magnet and cleaning cloth. It's so easy to do, no wiring etc, 5*****!

Bought this as an alternive to the traditional air vent or sucker pad phone holders, as my experiences with these has not been great. The magnetic holder fits well on to the front of the dashboard and the supplied metal discs (2) go on to the smartphone. Magnetic adhesion in very good and because there is no 'holder', the final result is a neat and tidy installation. The 3M adhesive pads on the magnetic unit and on the metal discs also have very good adhesion and the benefit of being able to remove the phone easily when not required in the vehicle is a plus point.The magnetic unit has a ball headed disc, so the angle of the phone can be adjusted to almost any required position, makin it easy for the driver (or navigator) to view the screen. Although my magnetic unit is fitted to the front of the dash, I have not doubt that the sticker end can be affixed to almost any smooth surface including the windscreen if desired.As you only get two discs to go with the magmetic unit, it is worth acquiring some extra spares that can be stuck to the back of other devices, although probably nothing too heavy - an Ipad or 8- 10" Android tablet would in my view be OK.

Surprisingly good quality - don't be deterred by the gaudy advertising!I specifically got this as it appeared (though wasn't clear) to be made from metal rather than plastic (as most similar holders are). That is absolutely the case. This thing is solid anodised metal with a reassuring weight to it and an ideally soft silicone pad over the extremely strong magnet - certainly stronger than my previous holder (which held my phone fine). The ball and socket joint holds firm to, so am not worried about it moving while driving (again, far more reassuring than previous plastic holders I've owned).With all that quality, the thing that's really surprised me is how tiny this thing is! For reference, the magnetic surface is barely a millimetre or two larger than a £2 coin.I've yet to fit to the car itself, so the quality of the 3M adhesive is yet to be tested. I have a new Brodit Proclip (specific for my car) arriving to fit this holder to, so will be a nice clean surface. I don't foresee any problems. Ranvoo instructions suggest leaving the adhesive pad in place for 72 hours before putting weight on it. Not doing that or having a poor surface may be the issue for other's who had the adhesive fail - worst case would be to use the smallest dab of epoxy or superglue (on a replaceable Brodit Proclip, this would be fine - not on my car dash though!)

Very good product. Easy to use. You get 2 magnets so can put on 2 devices. Only issue I have found is that I have a iPhone plus with an industrial case and after 3 months the sticky pad for the holder onto the car came loose. Although I expected this as my phone is very heavy.I brought the same product again as it is very good value for money and does it’s job well.I have never liked phone holders that grip to the windscreen so this one attaching on the dashboard works so much better. The holders that clip into the air vents made my phone get too hot so this one is perfect.

This sticks really well to pretty much anything and I love that it comes with spare magnets for multiple phones and to replace a worn sticky pad on the magnetic holder. However...... the metal plate on the phone prevents the use of a wireless charger which I use all the time so you have to remove the phone case which I don't want to do so I have to make a choice. I understand that this is an issue with all magnetic phone holders however it is something to think about if you use a wireless charger like me.

Stuck this to the shiny piano black dash of my Corsa and it's never budged. Put the magnet on the outside case of my phone (Huawei P smart) and it sits on the mount perfectly. Doesn't budge, even when going over the terrible pot holed roads where I live.Sold my car and wanted to remove the mount. Blasted a hair dryer over it for a couple of minutes on low and *gently* prized it off the dash - came away with no damage or marks to the dash. Was able to re-stick it on to my new car's dash using replacement 3m pads bought here on Amazon.

I haven't used this in my car yet, but I'm so impressed at how sturdy and strong the magnetic connection is. The actual mount is quite small, so looks neat and does not get in the way, and it is really sturdy in holding your phone in place. SO much easier than other car mounts where you have to click your phone in and out - it's so handy just to touch it on! Really really impressed.

This product is great in comparison to some of its competitors because on some of the others, you would need to put it on the air vents, and that would block the air vent from letting air out. Whereas with this, you can attach it to the most convenient place for you. The magnet is pretty strong, so that the phone does not fall off. Even though it is quite small, it is stylish.
