I was searching for sock that could give additional support for my husband who has been diagnosed with a flat foot, where just being on his feet throughout the day was causing extreme pain. These socks are tight, almost like compression stocking but for the feet, so shorter than a compression stocking. They took my husband a couple wears before he got them on easily each tome after that. These by far are great socks and his most favorite to wear as they give him that extra support to his nonexistent arch. These have helped ease pain due to the support that he was needing in addition to his custom shoe inserts. The inserts alone were not helping his feet feel eased but these sock, while they seem princely are worth it because they have cured his foot pain. These socks are unlike any other socks we have tried for increase arch support and we have tried many options, and these I would recommend over all others.

Update: I actually bought another smaller size (M) pair and am very sad. This time it is of the right length and even curls my toes a bit. However, it is still too wide and does zero compression. I am not fat but definitely not thin either. This is a nice-looking socks but as a compression socks, it is an EPIC FAIL - total disappointment!Previously:It is hard to be compressing anything when it's wider than advertised and longer than advertised. My friend even joked I could use it as Christmas stockings. Not funny. This is like a T-shirt with "Relaxed" fit which is fine for a T-shirt, NOT for something meant to be compression socks! That said, it looks well-made ... so I am actually going to buy another, this time one-size smaller.

3.5 stars. the socks kind of work... I have been having some trouble with my arch lately and am not entirely sure it is plantar fasciitis, so I cannot say for sure it did not work for that, but it did not work for my issue. I just don't see that it does a whole lot of supporting underneath the foot, it seems to focus on the top part of of the foot?

My socks are getting old and I was looking to revamp this area of my wardrobe. I've got some pretty bad arch issues with my right foot and I'm not sure how much these help, but I really like the way the feel and they are really thin and compressed, which I find agreeable.

I am on my feet a majority of the day. I was willing to try anything to help my aching feet in the morning. To my disappointment this did not help with my Plantar Fasciitis. It might be good for blood circulation over the long run but it is not an immediate problem solver. The only thing that eventually helped and made the pain go away was STRETCHING!! Stretch in the morning and before you go to sleep.

These socks are not as tight as using a ankle support but they do provide enough compression to keep the plantars in check once its back under control. These socks during the day and a boot at night are a great way to keep you walking without pain.

I like these socks. I own 7 pair. Had really bad heel pain before I bought these. Since I got these and started wearing them to work my heel pain is gone.

Pros - This is a very comfortable sock. In fact, I wear this pair more than any other athletic sock. The light compression seems to help some with foot pain and PF.Cons - It's pricey for an athletic sock. And despite some claims, these socks are not a miracle cure.

These socks are perfect for individuals who want compression socks for their feet and not for their legs. I wear this whenever I am at work, as I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse. I used to have an issue with my feet swelling after work but these socks have lessened the swelling a lot. Although I still have some swelling in my feet, I can now wear my sneakers after work( this wasn't the case before , as my feet were too swollen). The design isn't the nicest but honestly they work so I can ignore that. They are easy to wash and you put them on just as you would any other socks.They have not lost their stretch or compression ability and I have had them for over 3 monthsEdit July24, 2016 After using these 4 times a week for about 6 months, the compressions no longer as effective as it was. It does offer some support still, the compression effect for plantar swelling is no longer working. I would say that they are still a great deal as 6 months is a decent amount of time to maintain compression. I still rate them 5 out of 5 and will be buying a new pair for working days!

expensive socks , if these socks can fix your foot problem; then many other things can . So try other things too like exercising and massage.

I did not notice that much of a difference compared to regular sport socks.This to me is a sport sock not a compression sock...
