A So-So Update
After enjoying V 1 and V 2, I appreciate that the harder bottom on this latest version doesn't wear as fast, but it is much more slippery when running on a wet surface. Also, it seems like the shoe got narrower and provides less support than V 1 and V 2. On the plus side, the laces are cloth material, instead of nylon, and don't slip out of the knot mid-run like V 1 and V 2 did. I guess, overall, I'm a little disappointed.

NOT slip resistant!
I bought these because they are listed as a slip resistant model on Shoes For Crews and although they are identical in model name and appearance, they are *not* slip resistant at all. I have a hard time believing a mainstream brand would have two different versions of a shoe with the same exact model name so someone isn’t being honest and I’m going to contact the maker and file a complaint with the better business bureau when I find out who it is. I’m not the only one who has purchased these here for the same reason, so people need to be aware. Do not buy these for work they are dangerous.

4E? More like 2E. Not for wide feet. Just a wide toe box.
Feels like I'm walking on stilts. The sole and the heel are way to narrow to call these shoes 4E (x-wide) shoes. The shoe does not have a wide fit, just a wide toe box.My paddle-footed friends should look into Dunham, Rockport, or NewBalance 6E sizes.

Works for what I needed.
I like this shoe alot. It's not my favorite in the world, but they work for what I need them to.I work at Amazon, so needless to say I need to order a new pair every 2-3 months. The shoe is comfy and fits fine. They also look nice. I have a big feet that usually swell throughout the day so the soles give me enough breathing room and support where needed. But this is why New Balance is the best!I mean-I could use a little more support and possibly a new insole but I digress. The only issue I have with them is a thin insole and that the outside is made of mesh. This seems to be an issue with any shoe you buy these days. They're all marketed for thin, mesh outsole, and minimum support so they are the most lightweight as humanly possible...Cheers.

No support of any kind
The shoes run a little small, so if you still decide to get them, order at least a half size larger.ZERO support in the shoes, thin useless insole, very thin flimsy sides, and not very comfortable.About a half step above running barefoot.Other than the fact they they're very lightweight, there is nothing positive to recommend them.

Great for 4E wide feet, but hard to keep white
Honestly, these feel more like slippers than shoes. The fabric is mesh and very stretchy. You can see all of your toes stretch through the fabric when you move around. The sole is also a little on the spongy side, probably for comfort. These are labeled as "running shoes" which is a dangerous statement. Because of the stretchiness, your feet slide around a little too much under general walking. I would never attempt to run in these things! There is simply no stabilization. I ordered a 10.5 4E and feel they are true to size. I have always appreciated how NB offers wide sizes. The insole is removable and I replaced mine with something that offered more arch support. Because of the material, I do not see these lasting as long as I would like, even if I am not running in them. I bought these because I needed something that was white and would go well with a pair of jeans or shorts with "no show" socks. They do the job, but at 65 bucks, better deals can be had.

Not truely 4E
I have flat wide feet so I always order size 4E. Since my favorite model was discontinued, I resorted to this similar model. As you can see from the picture, my old (yellow) shoe is 1/4 inch wider than this new one (black). After running twice I got my middle toe bruised (losing toe nail). The minor difference makes day and night difference in comfort. I wish New Balance was consistent with the size specification.

Disappointed
They are not that supportive or cushioned. There “ok”.

Very comfortable and lightweight, but would say more for walking than running
Got these as running shoes as described but only wore them a couple of times for running. Could be more cushioned for my liking, I've had better in the same price range. However fantastic for walking and every day use. Very comfortable and very lightweight.

Great shoe for the average runner.
Third pair of New Balance Arishi and although I haven't run in them yet, if they're as comfortable as the previous two I won't have any complaints. These are the V3 as opposed to the V2's I already have. Only thing that could be improved for me would be to make the heel outer edge a little more resistant to wear. My current pair are flattening out in a little over 100 miles.

So far, happy.
I’ve bought these for myself for Christmas so I haven’t properly had them on and worn in. That said, I tried them and they’re a nice fit. Some brands like Puma I like the look of but they always crimp my feet where as these definitely feel nice.

A bit expensive
Apart from what looks like a harder wearing sole, it's hard to see that these are much better than other cheaper models, including some of New Balances own, a make I have had a few of and regard as good quality.

Go one full size up
I opted for a full size bed up, to UK 11, for a great fit in the toe box.The feel of the shoe is firm, not plush cushioning. Not sure how durable the outsole will be, but for half price, a great everyday running shoe, for maybe 10 k runs on firm tracks or road.
