Worth the Work
The media could not be loaded. Be patient. Keep your Lego instructions on hand and be prepared for many hours of work. After that? The end result is beautiful! Be careful not to over stress the wires- they break easily. But customer support is great. This is well worth the level of effort and money, as well as colorful and bright!

Awesome kit to behold
I love the way these turned out. It add so much more to the display. It easily allows you to see into the display. The biggest issue I had is that I ended up needing a hot glue gun to keep the lights in place on some of the spots. The instructions were very accurate and showed exactly what needs to be done.

Difficult to install but the end product is great
This product is a great addition to your Lego project, but it will definitely take some patience and a some work to install it. Don't expect to sit down and be done in a few hours. There will probably be some moments when you're frustrated, but if you can make it through to the end you'll be really pleased with the final product.Pros: 1. As I said... the final result looks great. For me, it was worth the time and money2. Customer service was great. I had two connectors that were damaged. I emailed their servicefolks and got a very quick response. They replaced the components free of charge.3. They do include some extra lights in case some of them malfunction.Cons: 1. The instructions definitely need improvement (see Tips below). The books show pictures ofparts you'll need for each step, but the actual installation of said parts is almost impossibleto decipher in a lot of cases.2. Running wires underneath your Lego blocks doesn't let you snap the pieces all the way in asyou normally would. This is probably an issue with any of these light kits, but there's no realway around it if you want to hide the wires. Just be prepared to have some of the pieces notwant to stay in place.3. Many of the lights that are used on the various light poles and wall sconces are stuck in placeusing little squares of padded double-sided tape. It works... mostly. But they don't stay in placevery well. There HAS to be a better way to do this.Tips:1. Test the components before you install. I did it by plugging one of the USB power cables into anexpansion board, and then plugging the light or connector into another slot on the expansionboard. Put the USB into a computer and you're in business.2. There's an installation video out on YouTube that shows the complete installation. USE IT!3. Test... install... then test again, if you can.4. As it says in the instructions, be gentle with the pieces. Don't force plugs into the expansionboard slots. Don't pull on wires after they're installed and clamped underneath the bricks.I'd have given this product 5 stars, but it really is difficult to install... especially given the instructions they provide. I hope this helps you out.

Follow instructions and watch Youtube video.
The Led Lighting Kit is really amazing. I took my time in adding it to the Hogwarts Castle, but it is well worth it. It was a bit time consuming and pieces are small and need to be handled with care, but everybody that sees the finished project says the lights make the castle. I totally agree.

Do not buy unless you have nothing but tons of free time and amazing eye sight/small fingers.
I was excited to buy for my daughter because the pictures looked amazing. I bought the lights the same time as the castle itself as a birthday gift. The return policy only allows for 7 days. Unless you have nothing going on in your life, helping your daughter get the castle done in 7 days is hard enough, double that time to install the lights, zero chance of completing it in that 7 day window. Obviously, with the poorly designed instruction manual, you will spend a minimum of 20-30 hours putting on these lights (that's if you're lucky nothing goes wrong). I tested each strand individually after installing to make sure everything worked. It did and honestly, looked good as I installed one by one. But of course when I went to connect them all at the end, they didn't work. I unplugged one by one, all would stop working when i had more than 3 strands plugged into the connector. As long as I had only two plugged in, they worked. Spent more hours troubleshooting, breaking a few of the fragile wires along the way, searching for videos, nothing. And this was only the first half of the castle. Realizing the 20 plus more hours I had to go to finish the big Hogwarts wing left a sinking hole in my stomach. After about 12-16 hours in total thus far, nothing to show for but a non structurally sound castle and lights that won't work - not to mention an urge to throw the whole castle in the garbage. There is no way a person with a job and a family can get this completed to test before the return policy expiration of 7 days. $159 down the drain and now a few more hours to remove the lights to get it back to normal - can't wait, so much fun. There should be a huge warning before buying that it will take 30 plus hours and lots of troubleshooting /soldering /YouTube video searching to finally complete. But if people knew that, most wouldn't buy it. The good news, I finally got a chance to use the magnifying glass that's been sitting in my desk drawer for twenty years untouched.

Beautiful
Looking for a perfect way to add onto your Lego sets? This is perfect! I got the lighting kit at the same time I got the Hogwarts castle and built it together since I like to glue my sets together. It just added that little bit of extra magic that made it all the more beautiful to have displayed in my home.
