It was not easy to install. Worked for a day then stopped working

These BNC connectors provide an easy, positive connection.

I've installed hundreds of these at work where we still have old analog security cameras on RG59 coax. But when installing them, you have to make sure the center wire fits into the receptor on the connector. and then push in good and tight so that the retracted BNC pin on the connector pushes out the other end. I even give the connector a bit of a twist while pushing in. Once it is snugly in place, use the compression tool to finish the install. I've never had one come loose where I took the time to push them together tightly (but had a handful fail when I didn't do this).
