A very good kit
The kit came in well it’s a good kit I wouldn’t recommend this one specifically if your new to gunpla since there is a lot of stickers but I really enjoyed this set

Great Looking Build
Great product with a good design. It was a fun and easy build. More stickers than your average high grade but no issue.

A great looking, but deeply flawed kit
There are A LOT of problems with this kits. For a such a new kit a new design, the articulation is surprisingly aweful. The arms and legs can only bend at 90 degree angle max. The feet have very limited range of motion and will not provide good balance for many ground poses. G-Self's articulation is just unacceptable for a modern kit, especially when compared to Build Fighter kits or even earlier ones.Color separation is also very poor. You get a comparatively large foil sticker sheet, which I usually don't mind. However, I found out that a lots of details are molded in the wrong color and they simply provide you with stickers to fix that. In fact, my BIGGEST problem with the kit is that the gun (one of my favorite parts of the kit) is molded completely in a single grey color! NO STICKERS for the gun details either! I ended up painting mine with Gundam markers just to make it look presentable. Pannelining is also recommended, as a few parts (the upper legs especially) look really bare without panel lines.A few joints are looser than I would have like. This is most problematic in the arms that hold up the backpack pieces. One of mine is not strong enough to support the weight of the pieces when I tried to have them spreaded out. I managed to put it in a certain angle so that it would stay, as long as noone is touching it. This makes posing a little bit of an infuriating experience. They do give you the base. However, since the base is supposed to connect to the backpack rather than the between the legs like most base, this means that the base provided is a little too short in height for my liking. Even on the base, G-Self's feet can almost touches the base bottom when standing up straight. I may try to put him on a 1/100 base for a more aerial feel. All that being said, I STILL love the kit at the end of the day. It looks FANTASTIC! The clear parts work great, and the color scheme and design are just lovely. The backpack certainly give him a big presence compare to the other Gunplas on my self. Despite all its problems, I just can't bring myself to hate it.If you are planning on getting this kit, get it for the Perfect Pack, not the gundam G-Self. I actually own both this and the Assault Pack version. If I have to choose one though, I'd say go with the Assault Pack since it feel more solid.

Excellent kit!
I spent a solid 8 straight hours after work with some tweezers (to apply the stickers) and a knife (to shave the nubs left after popping out the pieces) and at the end of the night I was impressed with how fun this kit was to build. While I wish it were more detailed here and there (the black lines on the legs are neither painted nor stickers- they simply aren't there and are meant to be painted) it is still a great HG kit for my favorite mobile suit. I highly recommend it!

Poor colors, nubs and seams.
Too much stickers if one wants to be accurate with colors. The elbows and knee joints are limited, thus if you want to increase the range of motion, a filer/methods to shave off plastic around the joints are necessary. Seam lines are obnoxious on large surfaces of the kit, but they're fixable. The kit had many opportunities to strategically hide the nub marks on the area that connects with the runner, but it didn't. Otherwise the joints are solid as in they are strong enough to hold objects while posing.

Great Kit... A Little Fragile
The kit was very well designed, I enjoy the articulation. The only complaint I have is the frailty of the opaque blue pieces. Even though I used the clippers to remove them from the runners, one would chip or fracture. Other than that, it’s a solid model kit.
