0.32A Internal CPU Cooling Fan Replacement Part Compatible for Switch Fan 2017 2018 2019

Installation took about 1.5 hours for someone who's never opened a switch before in their life. Has been running with the new fan for several months now without issue. Would not recommend for someone's first foray into electronics repair since it requires what feels to be a full tear-down of the switch to do the install. For anyone else with a set of tools and a bit of time it's not too terrible. Do note that you will need a tube of thermal paste to reassemble the switch since it requires completely removing the heatsink, so do a bit of research beforehand.

recently i needed to replace my nintendo switch fan because of how loud it was being and using this fan is an easy fix! the fan is super quiet and very easy to install as long as you have the tools and know what you're doing! it came in a very safe package and wasn't damaged when it arrived. i definitely recommend this product and will update here if something goes wrong.

My switch fan started making a lot of noise intermittently a few weeks ago so I purchased this as well as some required screw drivers to replace it. I completed it last night by following the guide on ifixit.com and it's working perfectly!

Fit perfectly where the old fan was. I did have to reuse the old fan's rubber grommets, but it worked just fine. It's running quiet and cool now!

Made my switch nice and quite again. I used too much thermal paste as you don’t need much. Old fan was missing half the edges. They were all broken off inside the switch. Also, quick and easy fix.

The one I got wasn't quite the same. My original fan had two closed holes and one open hole, the one I received had three closed holes which changed the installation just a little. If you also get one like that then you need to remove 3 more screws. Two holding the headphone jack and one holding the game cart slot. You'll also need to undo two of those ribbons, one is a plug in the other is a clamp. Under the removed boards you'll remove a rubber piece and place the fan in.

Received the product and i could tell it was used, not brand new due to their being little dust and a screw missing. However, when i replaced my old fan (which could not spin properly) , it worked. i wasn’t able to play docked for about 15 mins with my old fan because the console would overheat and turn off. But with the new fan, it works just fine. Now i’m able to play docked with no over heating issues!! Should've said it comes used though. but what did i expect.

Originally stopped working and replaced it with this one. It’s been a few months and I’ve had no problems since.

For those wondering if it is a brand new or used fan, it’s new! It is identical to the original and comes well packaged, can’t say that about other listings
