Fantastic Single-Driver IEMs
UPDATE:After owning these IEMs for several months, I’m going to have to bump my 5 stars down to a 3. The left IEM isn’t working! Checked for a clog, tried numerous wires and sources. Still only outputs at about 40% in relation to the right. Disappointed! This is predominately a first impressions review. That being the case, I have not allowed for "burn in" of these IEMs (though I don't give much weight to that anyways). If I encounter any issues that might change this review, it will be clearly identified in an "UPDATE" section at the top.I have never been one that has particularly cared for the "unboxing experience", but unboxing these IEMs felt like Christmas morning. Not only are the IEMs gorgeous, they come with a beautiful silver cable, the softest foam tips I've ever used, and a great little PU leather case. KBear basically said, "Hey, we want you to be happy with everything about this purchase and we're willing to cut into our profit to do it". That has not been the case for any other IEM brand I've purchased from. Every other brand basically says, "We'll give you an IEM, but if you want a case, better tips, a halfway decent cable, etc. - you're going to have to spend extra for that". That's what earned a 5-star review from me, which I almost never give.Looking at the build quality, appearance, and comfort of the IEM itself, I did not think I'd like it. Wasn't a fan of the color. Carbon fiber and logo looked meh. If the product details didn't say otherwise, I would've assumed it was made of plastic. The pictures online do not do it justice though. It's actually a beautiful, neutral green on a metal body. The carbon fiber design looks well done and has a nice shine to it when light hits it at different angles. The emblem actually looks great with its nice gold appearance. The carbon fiber and emblem sit underneath a very smooth, curved glass face. I'd say the whole thing is only slightly heavier than my KZ ZSX, but feels much lighter in the ear. With the included foam tips, these IEMs are very comfortable. They're light, but you do still realize you have IEMs in your ears. The only IEMs I've worn and almost forgot I had in (if it wasn't for the fact that music was playing) are my AKG N40s - they have a hybrid driver design and are very small compared to these. That said, wearing the KBear Diamonds is pleasant.Looking at (or better yet, hearing) sound quality... I don't usually use single-driver IEMs. My go-to's are either my KZ ZSX "Terminator" with its 1DD and 5BA system or the aforementioned N40s with its hybrid setup. When multiple drivers are utilized and balanced well, it lends itself to a very detailed but enjoyable sound signature. My favorite IEMs are still my KZ ZSXs (at least until my ZAXs arrive) because they're detailed without being aggressive, everything feels like its where it should be (as far as frequency and instrument placement). That said, the KBear are not multi-driver IEMs, they're single dynamic driver which are inherently different. So, listening side by side with my other IEMs, the KBear Diamonds are a pleasure and sound great, but they do sound different. Before I continue, let me note that I listened using my iPhone w/dongle, BTR5 over bluetooth, and FiiO Q5s running USB from my computer. They have a very quick response so nothing feels sluggish; yet, there is still some nice resonance from things like acoustic guitar. They feel very open and airy with a surprisingly good sound stage for single-driver IEMs. I gave them a quick test run and listened to everything from Blanco White to the Avengers: End Game movie score, to rap, jazz, indie, MatchBox Twenty. What I found is that I genuinely love the way these makes drums sound, and I typically never take notice of that. Bass is present without overpowering or bleeding into mids. Highs are somewhat neutral compared to other brighter IEMs (like my N40s). That said, there isn't as much detail in that realm, BUT I'm also going to be able to listen to these for hours without fatigue (and the comfort helps with that). My only gripe, and this is truly my only gripe, whatever range most male vocalists land (I assume that's lower mids; I'm terrible at naming exact frequency ranges), there's a bit of a recess. On a few of the songs I know very well, I did find myself thinking, "You're voice should feel louder right now". This was especially true if the male vocalist was accompanied by an acoustic guitar. The guitar sounded beautiful, but it over-powered the male vocalist the majority of the time. Yet, female vocalists or upper-ranged male vocalists really shine - I think specifically of James Vincent McMorrow's cover of Wicked Game.In the end, I gave these five stars because of what's included in the box, their build quality, comfort, and sound quality. Yes, some of my favorite male vocalists felt somewhat recessed (and mildly so), but the presentation of acoustic drums and guitar from these makes it feel worth it. All in all, get them - I'd be surprised if you regret it.

Sorprendentes!

Seriously, the Diamond's are as close to perfect as I can imagine for an IEM!
The KBEAR Diamonds, are basically IEM perfection. Do not pay attention to the price, even though it is insanely low for what you get. First, the Diamonds sound amazingly detailed, smooth, and rich. All audible frequencies are accurate and balanced in their presentation. Second, construction is stellar. Everything about the materials and design looks and feels premium without being excessive. Third, they come packaged with all the accessories you need to find the right fit which is crucial for a pleasant IEM experience, plus the cable is worth at least $20 by itself. Lastly, the case that come with it is simply icing on the cake! It's just the right size and has a magnetic closure. There is literally nothing about this package that I can criticize. For less than $90 the Diamonds are a steal, and seem like a monumental step forward for what audiophiles can expect at this price point.

I own a LOT of IEM's. These are worth every penny
All I can say is WOW. I currently have 30+ IEMS. these are hands down the best bang for your buck. Would go in to detail but figure why. read all the other 5 star ratings. Seriously some great sound for the price.Update: After using these now for a month or so with a set of balanced cables and running on a FIIO M11 all I can say is WOW!! Hands down the best bang for you buck in IEM's.

Amazing!
Read the other reviews. I ordered a pair for myself. Glad I did. These IEMs are incredible. The unboxing experience was epic. I'm still in shock with all the accessories that came in the box. KBEAR even threw in a top-notch cable as well. These are my favorite music and gaming IEM. They punch well above their weight.

Right Bud Lost Most of Its Sound...
After a short time, the right earbud lost most of its sound (like Dean Clark experienced in his Amazon review)...my right Diamond earbud is very faint compared to the left bud, and very annoying -- basically unusable. I am beyond the time to return the item, so I am thinking this was a failed purchase. Like the KBEAR Believe, I don't think they are making these anymore... but be aware that there appears to be a quality issue with this product.

not a fan, will ask for refund
Sounds ok, love the braided cable. I was in hopes the braided cable would make the cords last longer but nope. Less than a month and the right ear has no sound. I am also not a big fan of the way the cable plugs into the bud, bud and cable come separated often. with the over ear looping of the cable, after a few hours of use your ears will hurt, very uncomfortable... might be because they are so heavy
