What I like the most is that it’s a plug and play item.
What I liked is that you plug it into the controller, a couple of minor settings and it’s on with no problem.

Missing Endcap, No WaveMachine Adapter
Purchased a used pump to add a second to my setup. It came missing one of the end caps. Had to purchase a new cage kit from CoralVue for $60. Also had to buy a Hyrdros - WaveMachine adapter as this is not plug-and-play with the LE controller (not mentioned anywhere in the description — not sure if a new pump would have come with the adapter or you always have to buy separately and it’s just not listed anywhere). That was another $30. All-in I could have bought a whole new bundle for what I’ve now spent on a second pump. Not thrilled with this transaction.

Improved Flow
I've had the 4K version since it first came out. Initial set up was a little difficult, but there is a bluetooth option now which should make set up easier. Overall I'm happy with it for the cost. I run it at about 40% and it's pretty quiet. It's my first gyre pump and definitely makes a difference in my 4ft long tank.

Received a used product, damaged packaging.
Bought this to replace my last 4k great after the motor failed after 6th months. I figured it was just a fluke. Relieved box that looked like it was a return. Pump was dirty and the packaging material inside was gone. Pretty disappointed. Pump works but I'm not holding my breath.
