IceCap2K Gyre Flow Pump Only

I have two of these in my 220 gallon reef tank. You're able to get awesome and custom wave movements. Their youtube videos have helped me get the hang of using them and programming. Worth the money but dont forget to buy at least one with a wifi controller to run 1 to 2 pumps.

This is my second 2k pump to increase flow in my 65 reef aquarium. Easy to install but programming for daily schedule takes some time to figure out. Luckily the help menu on the app will enable you to understand better.

Great flow. I use this with a 4K for my 75. Never been happier so much indirect flow.

2k pump WILL work with 1k contoller.

Bought one from a store and wanted a second one to go with it. This one makes a ton of noise when it runs so I messaged them about it and got about a page reply about how they are not responsible for it and you should contact some one else and this and that. Wont buy from them again you should go someplace and purchase in person.

For this pump to do something as simple as pump water, you have to buy a controller, to work with the pump and you have to have connectors. Everything is separate or you can spend a lot of money for a kit. Either way, its just a powerhead. Not just any powerhead, a powerhead that has to have wifi to work, which is just plain dumb. Not only that, get ready for your app to tell you pump error after a short period of time. It isn't just me either. Other people have the same problem. Save yourself the annoyance and just buy a powerhead. Plug it up and use it. That makes much more sense.

the new pumps all advertise hydros and using the hydros wave engine but the main unit only comes with one adapter while the pump only doesnt. just spent 400$ on the pair to only be able to run one because they didnt include a 10$ cable and they are sold out everywhere online
