I'm sure it's a good belt but...
I'm sure it's a good belt, but most Corollas I've seen have A/C.This application is for an engine without A/C.I didn't catch that on the advert. until I had already ordered it.I have yet to hear anything bad about what the Gates people manufacture, so my guard was down when I purchased this belt.I returned this belt and went down to an O'Reilly store and spent more Amazon probably charges, but had the right size belt I needed immediately.I will use more scrutiny when ordering things like this in the future and would suggest that others do the same.

Bypass the ac pump without removing it
Worked perfect on my 2000 Chevy Prizm (Toyota Corolla) to bypass the ac pump because it froze up. I didn’t even have to remove it. Was going to get and idler pulley to replace the air conditioner pump position so I could use the stock belt but buying this belt was much easier and cheaper.

Be careful these belts are squeaking, I have solution for the noise as well.
this belt I used it on a kia optima 2013 turbo, and in the mornings it would squeak until it warmed up. as time passed it got worst.the issue started around the 2nd month, and by the 6 month it was unbearable the sound/NOISE.It drove me crazy considering that I thought Gates were the best in the market.Note: I had a similar issue with a Dayco Belt on this car and I changed the belt for this Gate hoping It would fix the problem. I did this because I knew that Dayco belts were bad for many years.Because this was my second belt, and the problem persisted, I figured my issue was with my pulleys!(Note: I already replaced one factory pulley with a Dayco pulley when I replaced the belt on the kia for the first time, "when I placed the Dayco belt", which I knew was about 1cm smaller in diameter "The pulley was 1cm smaller, then the original".).So Here I stand Thinking that my belt is good, and the aftermarket pulley is no good, So I go and Spend a lot of money for a factory Pulley with the same dimensions. right after I replace it I noticed the noise got worst!!So I figured that my tensioner must be week, and its very expensive on these cars...So I decided to buy an original Factory tensioner (note: the car only has 59,000 miles). After I install it the noise persisted now I just confirmed I wasted money on all the pulleys, and my problem was with the belt.I went and purchased a belt conditioner, and that seemed to do the trick. My fault for thinking that GATES would make a good quality belt that was not overly dry!Honestly I would have given the belt 2 maybe even 3 stars if I did not go through so many headaches with it.My cost was only of parts, labor was just my time!

Had to take it off and put the old belt ...
Had to take it off and put the old belt back on because it squealed badly when cold. It went away when I put the old belt back on. Always use Conti belts on a BMW. Learned my lesson.
