My box braids were a bit heavy so I used these to keep my bun in place. They’re a bit small for my hair so had to use two and pin them in place. Even with two they’re not noticeable at all on black hair since they’re also black and very thin.

We have used this type of hair net for years, for gymnastics and dance. We order the brown, it works on all hair colors, when you stretch it, the color fades away, especially, if you audience/judges are more then a couple feet away.They are more like disposable nets for buns. I have been a dance/gymnastic/theater/cheer mom for over 10 years, and I can say, hair nets after one use gather every piece of lint and hair they come in contact with, even with the best care, they do not look great using again, on brown or darker hair.Un-packaging: (Please see pictures) These hair nets come in little balls, they look like a mess, but they are not. Each net is nicely wrapped over the next, you just have to unwind them. I got a package of 100 nets, there are 10 balls, each with 10 nets inside. We give them to our team gymnasts, so we just take a few and place them in a ziplock for each girl.Addressing other reviews:-These are bun sized hair nets, as stated in the title "100pcs hairnet for bun." They are not intended for the whole head, for restaurant work, for a wig net, or to stay on by themselves. You need to use bobby/bob pins, or another fastening mechanism.-They are not cheaply made, they are for once or twice usage. My purchase was 100 nets for $7.99! What do you expect for less than $0.08 each?-They are not expensive ballet bun hair nets that a professional ballerina would use. But great for gymnastics and dance classes and competitions.As you can see from the pics on my child, the net color really does not show, especially if you are as far as the judges or spectators. Great value, but the color was very blonde, not light brown.

I can’t believe I’ve been getting ripped off at the dance stores and getting only 3 nets at a time that were very thin and would break so easily. I felt like I was constantly buying new ones. I could feel instantly that these are thicker and the netting seems tighter. My daughter has fine hair but she has a lot of it, and it’s layered. Layered hair is a nightmare for making a ballet bun. I was able to wrap this around her bun 3 times like with the others, and it kept all of her hair in place perfectly. Plus, the value is insane! I definitely recommend these to any dancers and dance moms out there.

Too small for adults

I need these for my daughter's dance recital. I've never had to do a bun before and saw on YouTube that people use a net to tidy the bun up. These come vacuum sealed (as shown in attached pic). As I'm new to doing a bun, I've been practicing. I've used one hairnet multiple times and it's still in good shape. I've attached a pic of my practice bun too, using the hairnet. My daughter has very thick long hair - I put up the bun with U pins also bought on Amazon - check my reviews to see which ones as they are also fantastic.

I use these when I'm cooking as I seem to be shedding like an oversize cat these days. They work well to keep long white hairs out of the gravy, which is why I purchased them. They're a bit fragile, and don't respond well to rough treatment, but handled carefully, do the job very well.
