RSC Periodic Table Wallchart, A0: RSC Poster – December 13, 2013

As described, very well packed, took just a few days longer than expected to arrive. I have enjoyed figuring out the connection of each picture to the element's properties or uses. It's sometimes poetic, but seems to have been made by someone with a deeper understanding than the author of my son's high school text. (My wife just said "it looks busy" and prefers the tabular data of a traditional table for our daughter's room, but she's neither scientist nor poet). A good complement to Sam Kean's book "The Disappearing Spoon".

Very cool poster. Hung it using small clips on dowel sections, top and bottom. Finding a frame is impossible, unless you want to spend +/-80$ on having it framed professionally.

Came in the mail rolled up, but came with a lot of creases because of the job they did at rolling it up.

We hung this up above our daughter's bed so she can stare at it as she goes to sleep. She loves it!

Arrived wrinkled.

This is a very nice display of the periodic table on thicker quality paper than the previous version. As stated in the description this version contains the newly discovered elements from 112 to 118. I would have given it 5 stars but this version does not have a brief description of the properties of each element unlike in the previous version. My copy also was not placed in the cardboard case properly, so it turned up badly creased with about 20 vertical creases in all as well as creased corners.

So both my two are studying chemistry. We had a review of how they were doing and both were doing great at school. As a treat for the hard work, they both were offered something chemistry as a pressie and both picked this. They had seen friends with them and loved them. They both have found it really useful in their studies. It's clear, well printed and easy to read

Very nice display. I have it in my school and it is attracting lots of attention.One slight problem is that our school is teaching them the old group numbering of the periodic tableso they are seeing what they have been taught as Group 7, the Halogens , as being Group 17 for example.Which is confusing, well it is to me anyway!But I don't think too many of them are being concerned about that. Need to move with the times..
