Second one didn't work, 3rd time did.
November 2021 =First one I ordered didn't work so I returned it after purchasing a second one from the same store oh, when I returned it it counted as the most recent purchase but it was actually the first one giving it 15 to 20 days before opening my device and installing the battery to test it the second one failed now when I try to return says it's been too long but it has not this battery is from the second order. .👇👇 revisedApril 2022=I edited my star rating for this company because they finally reached out and took care of me with the correct battery that works and they even upgraded the battery to a higher capacity no charge. Battery installed and is working great after third time. but still stuck with the first battery it's okay I'll be more careful how I order through Amazon.

Saved my phone!
I absoluately love my phone, and since LG no longer makes cell phones, I was really bummed when the battery was acting up. It would no longer hold a charge, and would randomly restart or turn off even with some charge left. I had to keep it plugged into an external battery pack at all times or risk it dying or restarting a bazillion times.I held off changing it for a year or so, as I was afraid of dismantling my phone. I wish I had done it sooner! Opening the phone was a major pain. Even with a heat gun (bought specifically for this task) it was extremely difficult to pry the back off, and I was terrified of cracking or breaking the glass back, BUT once it was off the battery was almost too easy to replace. I was a bit worried I broke something while dismantling, but it turned out good as new. I had also pre-purchased some very thin electrical adhesive, which was also needed to seal the phone back up, but aside from the heat gun and electrical tape, everything else needed for the job was included with this kit.I have to add, whether it was because of dismantling and putting the phone back together, or just a coincidence or the battery change itself, the finger print sensor was acting up for quite some time. I found a quick fix of squeezing the phone just under and to the side of the sensor will cause it to work again, but it was constantly needing that. I haven't really had to do that since changing the battery. So, so far so good! I've been using it a couple months now, and the battery and sensor have been working great! Almost like a brand new phone!

Breath new life into your (still) relevant "Flagship" phone
While not the easiest battery swap on the LG V30, this battery and kit came with everything needed to do the job (you'll need a heat gun or hair dryer). This battery is breathing new life into my aging but still "flagship" phone. Why buy a new phone for marginal benefits (better camera or processor)?!? Time will tell on longevity, so I'll be sure to update my review accordingly (installed yesterday, 3/6/20).Update 3/23/20: Battery is great and phone runs like new. Better than new. The battery lasts longer than when the phone was new (more mAh). Also worth noting, fast-charging still works with this new battery.Update 7/31/20: Battery is still going strong, as if the phone was new. So happy I made the leap to swap out this battery versus spending the $1k on a new phone. PS. I will admit it was a bit of a challenge to remove the battery cover (I used a hair dryer). Watch youtube videos and be patient!

It's an ok kit
Removing the battery wasn't too hard (watching videos). I guess since this was a refurbished phone, the glue they used wasn't extremely sticky (but hard enough to get off). The battery went in well, but had no instructions on how to reassemble the backing onto the phone. Sure, I got everything together, but no instructions on how to use the adhesive stuff they supplied (in a pick holder). They say look at videos, but I couldn't find any videos on how to use the supplied adhesive to get the back to stick back on. For now there was enough original adhesive left when I took it apart. I turned the phone on, and everything seems to be well. Using the free ascurion battery health app, the battery efficiency is only 95% (3147mAh) instead of 3300 mAh designed capacity. We will see how it does over time. This phone won't be used much just use as a backup phone. The original battery was made in 2017 (now 2022). and the original battery won't last long, sometimes would go to 40% then to 0% in a second. The original battery must have some bad cell, also too forever to charge the phone with the old battery.

Lied about battery capacity, actual is just under 2900mAh, that is less than OEM
The Lg V30 is old but I still us it for music and around the house. The originally battery lasted 7years of hard use before it reached 80% of its original 3300mAh capacity(it was down to about 2700mAh) I figured replacing it was wise due to age. The SHENMZ arrived weighing about 10% less than the OEM and lo and behold it has about 10% less capacity. Company lied about the 'increased' capacity and it actually doesn't even meet OEM specs. This is based on several full charge cycles in ACCUBATTERY to confirm, and it has never rated it above 2900mAh. After 10 cycles it is already down to 2800 estimated. Barely more than the 7 year old OEM.

Died after a few months
2024: Had to replace the battery on my V35 due to some error and the phone wasnt turning on. at first the replacement was great. I was getting noticeable longer battery life compared to the pervious battery however after a few cycles it now matches the battery i replaced but maybe an extra hour or so.2025: the battery life is alright compared to what is was before. HOWEVER it died. it gave the same question mark error as the battery before it. Should you avoid it? if it didnt completely die in a few months i'd say no. but it did.

Comprehensive collection of necessities to dissect your phone.
Their package came with *everything* needed to do the battery change - it even had additional adhesive rubber for the edges of the phone. This is needed because quite a bit is removed or buckled when the cellphone backing is removed. I am uncertain on how many mah the battery actually has, but it is definitely a lot better than the old battery it had that wasn't retaining a charge. Thank you for the excellent collection of necessities for when you're dissecting your phone.
