Grover Champion Friction Banjo Tuning Pegs, Nickel, set of 4

So far so good.Replacing 90 year old tuners on a Weymann 50 Banjo. I was reluctant to even do it but a couple just would hold tension. Could have changed to geared tuners but decided to stick with friction type to minimize changes to the head stock. These Grovers fit the bill.As for StewMac, I am impressed with their customer followup and enormous availability of parts and tools and services.

My husband has been building Mountain Dulcimers. We found these tuning pegs on Amazon and have been quite pleased with them. They work fine. The instruments stay in tune a long time even with changes in humidity. The strings don't slip once set up and tuned. I recommend this product.
