Ordered for a friend who sculpts glass. I watched her use this and she was very impressed with it. The glass cut first time and broke apart when gently knocked. A bit tricky getting the oil flow right but it comes with practice.

I am not an expert but did cut the piece of glass after a few tries like the oil feed .

It is a handy piece of kit to own, but very ‘Heath Robinson’ in some ways. It takes a long time to adjust for different bottle sizes; fiddly and made more awkward by too much powder coating inside the Allen key holes. Also it isn’t really designed to cut small bottles, the cutting wheel just isn’t able to move, so if you can’t line the bottle side up with the wheel where you want to cut, your stuffed. It also comes with a separate glass cutter designed for flat glass cutting, a few sheets of fine gauge sandpaper which are too small to be of any use, another metal pen with a rubber end which I am yet to find a use for, and a pair of gripping gloves that are the only accessory in my opinion needed apart from the rubber bands. It’s almost as if they have put as many useless accessories in with the item as possible to make up for the dubious product. That said, it is good for cutting standard wine bottles. It’s just not great. I’d give it 5 out of 10.

Used in glass class to cut for stained glass window, fused glass bowl and fir cutting glass for foiling. Did the job well for a beginner.

Used this product a few times with the smaller cutter but was not very satisfied with the cut. Changed to the larger head and used once on plain glass. This cut satisfactorily once then not at all. Looked at the dish of cutting oil and saw the little cutting wheel in there. With arthritis in my wrists, I don’t exert too much pressure so obviously the product is faulty. Should have sent it back but too much hassle.

despite previous good reviews i mut say my experience was disappointing.it did look quite fragile and toy-like and it proved to be so too. I might be good enough to cut a couple of pocket mirrors it didn't perform well in the end i had to replace it with a proper tool by a competitor

Once I had got to grips with the oil flow which was fairly simple if you follow the instructions, I found this cutter to be really good. Easy to hold and use and cuts glass well.

I wanted to try a pistol grip cutter, and of course everyone said the Toyo. I decided to try this one because it was a bit cheaper. I love it! I was using a pencil grip before, and I still like that one alot, but this one is really high quality for a lower price. I would buy it again and have recommended it to my friends.

I was skeptical, after reading some of the reviews that mentioned it was not useful.I found it to be a very useful tool for my 1 inch glass mosaic tile. The trick to getting in at the right angle to cut the tile correctly on the inside tiles is to cut the mesh netting on the sheet 1 inch in below the tile you need to cut in half. See included pic.It worked like a charm for me.

Ik heb het nog nie gebruikt. Kben een beetje een horder die constant gereedschap koopt dat ik eigenlijk nie nodig heb, kheb het bij de rest gegooid. Ziet er degelijk uit, 3 sterren voor uitzicht. Als ik het ooit gebruik en het is Rommel Dan zal Jeff Benzo's het geweten hebben!
