The notebook valet is as cute as a button. However the other review on using soap on the zipper is correct. It is very hard to unzip and rezip without something on the zipper. Putting soap or candle wax on the zipper takes care of the hard to unzip and rezip. Has plenty of places to put your crafting tools and the removable center piece makes more room for spools of thread etc.

I use this wonderful little box for a portable tatting box. I can keep eight to ten balls of thread, tatting shuttles, scissors, crochet hooks, picot gauges a few other things like folding reading glasses and a nail file. The center divider is removable if you want or need the full space. I am very pleased and wish it came in another pattern or set of colors. You may want to wax the zipper to make it easier to zip. Really a good buy for me.

I would not recommend this box neither for jewelry holder nor as a travel case for craft. It is too heavy for travel - we have to count any oz these days to get airline standards. The zipper doesn't work well, it is too hard, and it has only one opener (two-way zipper would be more suitable). Color is nice, but it is only positive thing to say...Unfortunately, I cannot return it for free of shipping charge. It is not on Prime.

This is a nice box although I wish it were just a b-i-t taller. It's just short enough that my paintbrushes and Pergamano tools have to go in diagonally or they are a bit too tall. Also the zipper, wow, it's extremely tight, probably because the box construction is of very rigid material and there's no give to it. But it looks very nice and is great for keeping small items organized all in one place.

Was a gift for my cousin.

Cute design. If this is to hold jewelry, it needs more compartments, pouches, something to separate the items. Because, they will just be a jumble unless you get some tiny zip lock bags to keep everything from tangling.If this is for crafting, something applies, separation issues.

The zipper is so tight you can barely open it.
