setting is of interest
It was interesting to see India in the 1960s, but the sound quality was abysmal. And the detective tropes (exposition scene at the end, etc.) were well-worn. Pretty predictable. An important movie for film historians, though.

Bengali thriller directed by the one and only
it was perfect- Saturday evening well spent. English subtitles are adequate, could be better in some places. No reason for you not to enjoy this treat!
