Fantastic read
I am an adult who enjoys young adult/childrens books every now and again because of the easy read and flow. This series held my attention throughout. The thought behind these books i found amazing, I love the races of the dead and the different things every day objects would do. The characters were great and easy flowing and the end was really good, one of the rare times I couldn't predict what had happened. The only part I don't enjoy is the fact that I've finished it :( I haven't been this amused since the MythAdventures series. I hope there are more to come!? I look forward to reading more adventures :)

More from Uncommoners world
the third in the uncommoner series finds the heroes travelling to New York in search of another of the Great Uncommon Good objects. they are also trying to help their friend find his lost sister. This is yet again a real roller coaster of an adventure with some old friends returning and some new ones being introduced. The villains are as awful as ever and are always on the heroes trail. A tremendous series for the 8+ age group.

Fantastic Read
I love this (so far) trilogy! There's something about ordinary London being something more just because of the way things happen (dying is not the end when you're an uncommoner). The right amount of magic and discovery with peril - I would recommend for over 10 years and as an adult I thoroughly enjoyed it. Read them in order though!

Daughter loved it! Couldn't put it down
Bought for my daughter and she loved it. She was especially enamored with this series, I think she finished it in 2 days, she would not put it down. The series would make a great present for any 12 year old.
