Solid coupler!
I was skeptical with this item, as the pictures definitely look like it's plastic. It's not. It actuality appears to be die cast aluminum. It's very nice quality, and very solid. Has a tiny M3 thread to mount to your trailer. If you are working on a custom trailer like I was, you can cut the back wall off (with a Drexel or similar rotary tool), and it easily accepts a solid 1/4" square rod. You can then drill a couple holes, and bolt it to your trailer for a more realistic look.

Nice hitch, but.....
I like the hitch and is functional but had to be drilled and tapped to fit the trailer stud. The hole does seem too small for any application in dealing with a trailer. Not sure what trailer has that small of a mounting stud. But nonetheless, the hitch works perfectly. Nice buy.

Great scale look for trailers. Do make sure you buy the correct hitch for the truck tho. This only fits 1 specific hitch.

Works for me with a slight modification
It works with the tow hitch I bought with it. Had to drill the 3mm hole to 5mm to accommodate the hitch part of the trailer I bought (wasn’t hard at all) and JB weld it tight.

not a fan of how it mounts
the one screw in the center mount is really hard to keep tight with the twisting forces on the hitch

Perfect hitch for rc trailers
Love the hitch. It works good and had a good mounting system. I know it will meet come off on the trails.
