A former CIA agent (Miles) is sent to the Harz Mountains of eastern Germany to search for a lost colleague. He soon stumbles upon a much bigger (and deadlier) conspiracy. Tangled in a web of lies about his own heritage, crimes of the past, and the region’s former Soviet history—his only hope for survival is a local village girl, who seeks the truth about her own parents’ disappearance. Miles soon learns their fates are intertwined in a darker way that he ever could have imagined. Abandoned Soviet ruins, mysterious caves, and the eerie German forest set the scene in this Cat and Mouse thriller that proves once and for all: you can’t escape your past.

That Jake Koeppl is something
Jake Koeppl’s delivers a phenomenal performance in this adventurous suspense film. The filmography is awesome, with some of the best shots I’ve seen in a long time.... did I mention that the lead actor nailed it?

Enjoyed watching this one
The Heritage has a good plot, and an interesting backstory. They did a great job in shooting the scenes, and the acting was superb. If you are into adventure/suspense movies I would recommend renting this movie.

Fantastic little film
A small film with a big heart. A take on German culture I knew virtually nothing about-- fantastic visuals and complex concepts. Totally with the $4.
