Had me on the edge of my seat. When Nate has relations with women it's usually just a one and done or done with certain terms. However when Nate meets Ashlee who works in one of his company's departments he doesn't realize he's met his match.Nate never dates anyone who works for him but this gorgeous, smart, redhead has him only thinking of her. Ashlee has worked for the company only for a few short years but she is learning lots about the music business and likes to help her bosses Stu and Lena. As an assistant she helps scout out new bands and looks into social media surrounding them.Lots of bad gossip surrounding Nate and his women. Ashlee doesn't want to be included in the gossip. Things get wild between Nate and Ashlee. He just can't leave her alone until something happens. Will it break them apart? Can they move forward and does he want to? Oh so good!! Must read next book!! Storyline is off to a good start. Can't wait for book two. I have a question tho. Why doesn't the cover picture match your description of Nate? Handsome man so I'll go with the cover picture and his eyes are brown but his hair is not blonde. I actually bought the book for the cover and enjoyed both.

For honest review . Nate Lexington is CEO and co owner of Manhattan records . When he sees ashlee Webb assistant to mr. Babcock in A&R he knows he must have her . This two have different views on relationships but she has him running scared alot but he always has her on his mind. Awesome story

A really good story with interesting and engaging characters. Nate is just enough of a jerk to make you want to slap him. A surprise toward the end that was truly surprising. Good read!

This was a great read. When I first met Nate I was damn he's hot, has everything in control and under control but as I continued to read I started seeing his insecurities and how he would take it out on Ashlee and I was then like forget him. Ashlee is the gurl who's already been through stuff and came out strong. She's independent and confident in herself and I love seeing that she is a boss ass chick in an assistant roll lol. All in all I liked the story developing of the characters. Let's see how it continues into book 2

I enjoy the author’s books and this was no exception. Ashlee is a strong, think-for-herself heroine who still likes being in a D/s relationship (characters that waffle between being a feminist and a sub are irksome). Nate is a Dom who has trust issues that cause him to react badly, but he learns. He’s still likable even if he makes you want to choke him. The characters plus the steamy sex scenes earn it 5 stars. I’m really looking forward to the rest of their story and hope that it becomes a series.I prefer series and don’t understand why people get pissed when the book ends with a “cliffhanger” and rate it lower. Authors could let readers know in the description that another book will follow. That would also be helpful to me because I prefer series in which you get more of the characters’ story and I would know in advance that I’d have more to read.

Nate & Ashlee’s story was unexpected in so many ways. The ending is particularly surprising.... no shocking is a better word actually, but no spoilers in this review. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see where their journey takes them. So many possibilities with several different characters from their interactions. Nate is definitely a strong, self-assured yet brooding man with striking physical attributes that makes a girl‘s panties melt. Of course he’s into BDSM as a Dom so that plays into why he has “rules.” And Ashlee is likewise strong & confident in her own ways also with gorgeous outer beauty as well. It makes sense that Nate would forget all his “rules” around her and her innocence. Totally worth the read.

It's a great story, very hot and intense! A bit different in that the man seems to be wrapped up emotionally instead of the female character. There is a twist, and I'm eager to read more!

I enjoyed reading this book. I liked the storyline and I love the characters.Ashlee is a great character. She speaks up for herself when necessary, and isn’t afraid to put Nate in his place. I liked seeing her learn new things about herself as she got to know Nate.I really liked Nate. He’s a right @rsehole at times, especially when it came to Ashlee at work, but I think reading his point of view made me like him. He was battling with his feelings having not felt that before.I think Nate and Ashlee do have a spark, and they are pretty hot together. Together, it works, although they both need to communicate more.I think the storyline was good. I’m intrigued how the next books going to go after the ending. Ashlee definitely should have told him although he shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions.Overall, I enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to the next one. This is my first book by MS Parker. I just picked randomly. Writting style was good, but plot was not very gripping. Yes, it was intriguing enough to keep turning pages. Erotica between Ashley and Nate was ok ok.As the blurb says it's an office romance. Nate being her bosses boss, meets her and finds her intriguing. Blurb says, he is flirting with her, but in my opinion he flirting with her is less and blackmailing her to spend with him is more.Nate is more egotistical and selfish. He calls himself as an dominant and in my opinion he didn't show much of that character except in bedroom. He interprets wrong about AshleeAshlee is simple, intelligent, hardworking and well headed girl. She has maintaines her relationship with her bosess well and behaves extremely professional and level headed. Her interaction with Nate turns her official and personal life up and down.Neither Awful nor an excellent read. I didn't like Nate much but liked Ashlee for most parts. I didn't like that she agreed to jump ship in sexual dept from zero to 100 in such short time.Ending of the book was sloppy and didn't except that twist and some how. It sort of ends like a cliffhanger but I can totally understand big u didn't pick second book.

What a great book. Nate the most arrogant and sexy Boss and the innocent Ashlee the woman he wanted but shouldn't have, their chemistry was insane. A twist I didn't see coming. I can't wait to read the next book about them
