Leviton is a trusted electrical component manufacturer. The part was very easy to install and works fine. It solved my “On-Off” switch issues with two of my floor lamps. The originals were suitable for three way capable bulbs but I did not need that anymore since I converted to all LED bulbs in the household. These did not seem as robust as the original 20 year old units they replaced, but what product is anymore? Longevity on these is unknown but they are inexpensive and easy to replace to repair expensive and frequently used floor lamps.

A switch had broken on an old, reasonably expensive, floor lamp. Taking the lamp apart (and putting it back together) was a pain, but installing the new switch was easy. I was able to screw the original on/off knob of the lamp into the new switch so the lamp looks the same as before the repair. I hope to get many years of use out of the switch but without a crystal ball (can I buy one on Amazon?) I can't be sure.

Replaced faulty switch in lamp that was purchased on Amazon 2 years ago. Switch was simple to replace and much more economical than buying new lamp.

I got it today installed in 10 minutes and it’s working like it should. I don’t know what the other reviewers are critical of, this works fine. I’ll try to update if it fails in a month.

Very easy to install as a replacement in a favorite lamp. Took about 7 minutes from start with removal of old and broken to finish with installing new and turning the light on.
