Awesome trail camera. WiFi is the cat's meow.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. H85 Trail Camera by ToguardI purchased this motion activated camera mainly to capture wildlife in our backyard. I love to see when the local deer come to visit, and I'm hoping to capture some video of a bear or moose as well. But it's wintertime here now and the backyard visits are less frequent, so I've discovered a new use for this camera. We have three cats that are getting up there in years. We are concerned about them eating enough because a couple of them are losing weight. So, I had the brilliant idea of setting up the trail camera next to their food dish. Now we can see who is eating, when, and how often. I know cats are supposed to be nocturnal and they do sleep most of the day, but I was surprised at the frequency at which two of these furry friends hit the old food trough. The third one only stopped by once in the morning and she is the one that is getting too skinny.Cat eating habits aside, this camera did exactly what it was supposed to. In nearly total darkness, it began recording as soon as a kitty walked into the frame. Being that the camera was so close to their food, they did notice the soft glow from the infrared LED lights. This is not an issue when the camera is setup outside as the dim red light is barely noticeable from a distance. But for this experiment, I did end up with some kitty nose prints on the LED screen. :)Probably my favorite feature of this camera is the WiFi capability. When you have one of these cameras outside or even up in a tree, it can be very inconvenient to get to it, open it up, and either retrieve the SD memory card or watch the videos on the built-in screen. Using the small remote control that came with it I can turn on the camera’s WiFi (even from a reasonable distance), connect to it with my phone and download the recordings. Pretty sweet! Plus, all of the camera settings can be changed remotely through the phone app.Installing and using the app went smoothly. The user manual walks you through the process in detail. You can see thumbnail images of your photos and videos directly from the camera, but to actually watch the videos and see the photos full-screen you will need to download them to your phone. This camera uses a full-size SD card (or a micro SD with a full-size adapter). I like this. The micro SD cards are difficult to handle and very easy to drop and get lost when you’re in the woods. The strap that comes with the camera is 6 feet long, so you can install it around very large diameter tree trunks. The camera is equipped with two tripod mounting inserts – one on the bottom and one on the back. So, you have more options for how you install it. Plus, it includes an articulating mounting bracket and plate with all the necessary fasteners. The user Manual is very well written and covers every detail about the various functions and how to operate. The display screen is sharp and clear with great color and the recorded image quality from this trail camera is absolutely superb. Even in night mode it captures every detail.

Awesome WiFi Trail Camera!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My property borders some woods, so I really wanted to capture the wildlife action at night. I have a relatively large backyard, and I have the TOGUARD H85 WiFi trail camera setup just off my back deck. I love how easy this camera is to setup and all the menu options! This camera’s lighting will reach quite a ways, and in the attached photos it is lighting an area close to 100ft in depth, with the deer at least 30ft from the camera! The clarity of the pictures and video is awesome as well! The WiFi functionality allows me be inside my house and download all the pics too my phone, which is a huge bonus!!

High tech surveillance just what I needed
I did a lot of research on this subject and chose this Toguard over the others. I am not a hunter but I needed something to catch our local visitors at night and in the early morning. We have property in Siver Springs, FL right on the Oklawaha River. My wife thinks it's a cat but I believe it is one of the monkees migrating down toward us from the Silver River. I studied the instruction booklet on the camera and found out how to set up the WiFi and IR, and it works really well so far. I can control the camera from my iPhone or the remote provided. Really well built for outdoor use. You will have to consult the booklet, but just follow the directions and it works as advertised! So far I caught a neighbor at our outdoor fridge, beer bandit no doubt. The night pics are excellent quality, I was a sensor operator (camera ball) on a CBP Predator B Drone aircraft and these pics rival the aircrafts resolutions. Very happy with this camera so far.

Great Trail Camera With Built-in WiFi
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I see a lot of wildlife in my back yard coming from a large wooded tract behind my house. I see a lot of deer, turkeys, foxes, etc., so I bought this trail camera to capture some images and videos and to see what else might be lurking out there. The main reason I chose this camera is because of the WiFi feature. I wanted to be able to have access to the settings and the photos without having to take the camera down from a tree, or in my case, a fence post. This camera does exactly what I want it to do. I simply connect my phone to the camera via WiFi and I can change the settings, view and download the photos and videos to my phone and even delete photos and videos from the memory card - all from my iPhone. There's a QR code printed in the instruction manual and I just scanned that code with my phone which took me directly to the App Store to download the app. I download the photos from the trail camera to the app on my phone. From there I have lots of options. I can save the photos to my camera roll, email them, post them on social media, etc. - just like with any other photo on my phone. Also, I can retrieve the photos by using a card reader, or download them to my laptop using the USB cord that came with the camera. The settings are pretty robust. I can choose the image size/resolution of the photos and videos, choose the camera mode (photo, video or photo + video), turn on time lapse, etc. I can choose the length of the video I want to record, turn audio off or on, select whether to have a time stamp show up on the photos and videos, etc.One thing I really like, which seems small and insignificant, is that there's a little nylon string attached to the battery compartment door that makes it easy to open. My finger is too large to fit into that small of a space and on my other trail camera, I have to use a knife or screwdriver to get the battery cover off. On this camera, I just pull down on the string and the door lifts out for easy battery installation. Speaking of batteries, my battery life is still at 100% after four days. The camera hasn't been turned on continuously during that time, but I would have expected the batteries to be below 75% by now.The quality of the photos and videos are great, in my opinion. I put some deer corn out a few days prior to the camera being delivered to my house hoping that I might see one or two. As you can see by the photos, I have a whole lot more than that. Bottom line: I'm really happy with the features of the camera and the quality of the images it produces. If you're a hunter or just like viewing wildlife, this camera is a good choice.
