Cats Gone Bad

I read the newspaper stories - and in one case, the police report - behind some of these stories. They're about bad PEOPLE who are horrible, torturing or neglecting their animals.EXAMPLE: If it's the same people as the story I think it is --- the ones "held hostage" --- these awful people allowed their baby to pull the cat's ears and tail, and basically bully and torture it, without ever correcting the poor oblivious baby or separating the cat from the child. Of course the cat scratched the baby! Then the man kicked the cat - hard. If I remember, the people were fined.Kinder humans begged the family to give away the cat, and many stepped forward to take it and promised it a good home. In my opinion, they are horrible selfish people who don't deserve companion animals.To call this book stories of CATS gone bad is, at best, ignorant. I suspect it confirms the assumptions of people who treat animals like objects.If you don't like cats, don't have one. Don't take pleasure in the cruelty of humans.
