Incomplete kit
I ordered the sensory dome to use with my 4 year old. It arrived just yesterday. I think this is a great idea and a great kit. Unfortunately ours arrived without the second bag of gravel, the blue gravel. At first I didn't care--who needs decorative gravel? However when I read through all the material that came with the dome, I saw that the aloe won't grow without the blue gravel on top of it. Of course by then I'd already planted the aloe. So be warned and check everything through before you begin.Aside from arriving incomplete, this is a cute planter kit that fits nicely into our small space. It comes with 5 small seed packets: aloe, polka dot plant, cabbage palm, eucalyptus, and an herbal mix containing "assorted herbs including rosemary, parsley, basil, thyme, chives, fennel, dill, marjoram." I hope the plants grow. Looks like I'll have to break out the plant identifier books to tell the herbs apart.

Overall, this product is "OK". One of the types of seeds won't grow. There were only enough sticky pictures to go around half of the terrarium.

Very neat idea, but it doesn't work!
We received the DuneCraft dome as a gift, but it was missing the actual seeds. After contacting the company, we didn't get a response for almost 2 months. Besides this, we tried it anyway. The single plant that came in a plastic bag was supposed to be immersed in water, and the dome was supposed to be placed near a window. It worked okay for the first few hours, but due to condensation, the plastic case was foggy most of the time - so you couldn't even see into it. After opening the lid, the dome exhibits a very fowl / moldy smell - so we ultimately had to throw it out.
