To be all-purpose trivets, these could be larger and thicker. But you can see the dimensions on this product page to decide if they meet your purposes or not. They are too thin to use for a hot pot on a good wood surface. But this size stacking does not take up a lot of room, and they are handy--and very pliable--for smaller and more general use on the kitchen counter.They could be finished off better, but I'm assuming the rough edges can be faced downwards and will rub off over time. But they are decent unobtrusive colors, at least in my kitchen the colors work.Each one is not exactly the same--whether the size difference has to do with the different colors, or "top" side opposed to "bottom" side, or if the three sides are different lengths--I am not going to bother to find out.

Form and function harmonize beautifully in the hexagonal silicone trivets. You can mix and match the six trivets according to the size of the hot dish. They thoroughly protected my table and afterwards I didn't mind leaving them on the table, since they look so good. Taking the lead from honey-bees, these trivets are supremely well-designed. And given my own predilection for geometric shapes, I am delighted everytime I use them.

So versatile and cool looking! Love the colors and that they can be sort of “linked” together for setting larger items on top. Holes also allow heat to dissipate but silicone makes it never hot to the touch. Also easily converts to using as a pot holder! I have a couple under our cats food bowls to keep them from slipping and just ordered another set to use under planters indoors to keep them from scratching the furniture.

These silicone trivet mats simply look fantastic on my medium-dark granite counters. The colors are mellow and you can nest these together or use them alone. I ran one thru the dishwasher without any special care and it came out flat and good to go. I like these silicone trivets much more than cloth or a wood one I have for just about every reason but it is just the look of them that is most appealing. Just a trivet done right - 5 star.

I love these silicone trivet mats! Frankly, I don't know what this wasn't thought of before. Being able to lay them out in a way that perfectly fits you dish or pan is great. They're easy to pick up and look great with a modern decor. Highly recommended!

These are great! I love the thick silicon they are so much nicer than the bulky plastic or cast iron trivets and protect our table and counter tops just as well if not better.

These Hexagon Trivet Mats are art. I LOVE this design. I will be leaving them displayed out on my kitchen island.
