4 Pairs of DiscoBrakes Pads Compatible with Avid Elixir 1 3 5 7 9 R CR X0 XX WorldCup Disc Brakes, Semi-Metallic

I put these on several bikes and even swapped still good pair of Shimano to make sure it wasn't me or the rotors, and it is noticeable. These work, they are just not good lock up the breaks stopping power. At 1/4 the cost I guess I was expecting too much, people reviewed them well.

Using on 2012 Avid Elixir 3 Brakes.Great price for pads, but they are slightly too thick (paint is really thick too). So spend 2 minutes and put a piece of 100 grit sand paper on a flat surface and sand off the paint then sand the metal for approx 1 min. They might fit without doing this, but as soon as gets warmer outside they will start to drag. Otherwise just remember to push the pistons back before installing and properly break them in. I have almost 50 miles on them and they seem to be working great.

This is my second purchase . For the price and the braking performance ; 5 star for price , 4 star braking .

pads fit well and seem to stop very good. great price point. great brakes and excellent price

they produce no noise , but do not stop very well not put the brakes on

Good deal on semi-metallic pads. Haven't tried them yet, but couldn't pass up this opportunity.

This is the second time I have bought these brake pads as they are excellent all weather use and good value for money. They are semi metallic which is a compromise between sintered which grip better in the wet, longer lasting but noisy and organic pads which grip better in the dry but fade and do not last as long. This makes an ideal compromise for general but not extreme mountain biking which suits sintered or ceramic pads. Fitting new pads is an ideal time to check caliper alignment, you need to push the pitons in and possibly release brake fluid to achieve this.

I’ve had these before.so buying for the second time

Fitted to my avid elixr brakes and work good,my only dislike is they dont come with a split pin which is something you need to purchase separately.

Great VFM, does not include new split pin so you might want to buy that seperately, very quick delivery (48hrs)
