Shrimp King Snail Stixx

I really liked that the snails were immediately drawn to these pellets like a magnet. I really disliked the way the black plants were festooned with light tan poop-threads the next morning, along with leftover pellets disintegrated into sawdust-like piles on the black gravel... Yes, I’m a lover of ambience! All black decor and this snazzy red Betta flashing through it all! Fortunately, and as all detritus is destined, it all faded away in a few days. If the snails love Snail Stixx, then, I guess I’m good with it.

Ummm... my mystery & ramshorn snails go CRAZY for these (& the other Dennerle mineral sticks I bought - same review..they love them both!) Shipped quickly. Got free samples with my order! And.. The snails go crazy for them!! (Felt like that needed repeating :) ) They sink immediately, and they do swell up, but don't cloud the water AT ALL! If you have snails.. buy these! They have lots of calcium, which I desperately need because I have soft water (I do dose liquid calcium too though), and my snails have beautiful shells.

My snails go crazy. I have a ton of baby snails and the next thing you know I will have ton of mini piles as they all go topple on top of each stick. I do this when water changes are needed. My big snails will hoard theses in their foot and not share. I have to put more than the recommeneded amount but that might be because of the babies. Also got free samples!

Pellets appear to be very tasty to my apple snails. They quickly break down to be completely consumable. My snails are able to eat pieces of the stick I place in the tank to the extent there is no left over pieces to affect the water quality.

This is a terrible food especially for the money. My mystery and ramshorn snails will not treat it and it makes a terrible mess in the tank.I would recommend not to but this food, crab cuisine is far superior to this for a quarter of the price

Picked this up as a treat/supplement for my Mystery Snails. There's a few fish in the tank too but they don't seem to care for it, which is good, since I don't want them eating it. Sure it's pricey, but I buy the expensive gourmet stuff because when they eat it, they want to taste it.

They love it but it was in a huge package and you only get a tiny amount for price.

The snails like it just fine and I am sure it's good food. The reason for the low rating1. Cost. This is a tiny pill size bottle of food. I use several premium snail foods and make my own. This product is not a good value for the cost.2. Durability. The food disintegrates in aquarium water. Some of my snails got a little but it was mostly evaporated. Snails take a whole lot of time to notice food and eat it.

Usato solo una volta, per ora, perchè preferisco cibo cucinato fresco.
