Excellent, works as ecpected
I am a handyman. First time repairing pool solar leak. Used a flathead screwdriver and sharpened it to razor tip.... MUST clean edge of riser tubes where they are cut so the plugs enter smoothly into header tube (used silicone gel). Repair was successful on all 5 riser tubes.

Best $15 I ever spent. Easy, fast repair of solar panel tube leaks.
My Heliocol solar panel tube developed a leak where the clamp rubbed against the tube after 10+ years. Cut the tube at the collector pipe, sprayed with silicon, inserted the plug and pulled it though with needle nose pliers, cut the tube to fit, push it on the other side of the plug and finished in less than 15 minutes. Could not have been easier. Only needed one plug as the tube is pressurized. No leaks and saved the $500 replacement cost of the panels. Could not be happier.

Not 12 plugs: 6 plugs with 6 spears
These repair plugs definitely work, but a 12 pack means it’s 6 plugs with 6 spears for the plugs. Easy to install. Buy more than you think you might need because each tube requires a plug at the top and bottom.

Works great! Has two parts
Works great! Has two parts, a stretchable rubber insert that is easy to put in the hole from a cut off heating tube, then a hard pin that is pushed inside of it to expand the diameter and provides the seal.

STOPS LEAKES BUT VERY DIFFICULT TO INSERT
The plugs work, but inserting one in a header is very difficult, especially if the leaking riser is either the first or last on the header.
