Turn my faucet on. Pour two cups. The Setra smart faucet with voice-activated technology dispenses measured amounts of water at your spoken command. Just say the words to turn the water on, fill containers to a preset level or dispense a specific quantity. In addition to voice control, this touchless faucet has a motion sensor that turns water on and off with a wave of your hand. The faucet works with the KOHLER Konnect app so you can monitor water usage and be notified of unusual flow. FEATURES Voice control allows hands-free activation to turn the faucet on or off, pour specific amounts and fill preset measurements.* KOHLER Konnect pairs with Alexa, Google Home and Apple Home Kit.** Innovative sensor monitors water usage and displays that information on the KOHLER Konnect app. Notification can be sent to your mobile device when unusual flow of water is detected.*** 2.4 GHz password-protected Wi-Fi connection is required. Alexa, Ask Kohler to dispense 1 quart of Water
The media could not be loaded. When I read the reviews I knew this was going to be a weekend project. I was replacing a 15 year old Moen that was white once upon a time but was yellow and didn't look very nice anymore. I was ready to grab a basic Kohler faucet, when my wife saw touchless. Had I stopped researching and just bought the touchless this review may not have happened. Then I saw "works with Alexa" and decided that might be a fun thing to have in our smart home.Replacing a faucet would typically take me an hour, maybe two if you have to run to the hardware store. The faucet install and water hookups matched what we had, so that was done in about an hour. The challenge was getting a new power source beneath the sink as we needed constant power. We ran a connection from an existing box above the sink, cut a whole in the back of the cabinet below it and mounted it there. Quick drill whole to the cabinet beneath the sink and we had POWER! Between running to the store and a couple breaks we burned a couple hours but the new box with the new GFCI outlet was in and tested. Now that we had power, back to the direction which weren't too bad, connect a few wires to a circuit board and connect the water. NOTE: When you turn on the water, the water flows out the connection below, make sure you have a bucket or dishpan. We had a leak so that was a little nerve racking to think I might short the board and have to deal with getting a replacement. Found the leak as the solenoid connection wasn't tight. Tightened a bit more. Test passed. So now everything looked good, we screwed the cover on. The solenoid valve can be changed to manual which allowed us to do a bit more testing. Step 4 was to hook up Kohler Konnect. Followed the steps and got an error (see pics). For some reason I couldn't get the wifi to connect. I spent about 30 minutes looking on the internet for help. The troubleshooting section didn't have anything. Page 9 talked about the LED light colors. Found mine was flashing red so I needed to do a system reset. Page 9 at the bottom says Electonic Reset. Basically you turn on the faucet handle wave your hand beneath the curve part of the faucet to turn it off, close the handle and repeat 10, yes that's right, 10 times! Come on Kohler, don't you think 5 would be enough? Once done reseting, I spent more time going through the setup steps got the same error and then did the whole thing one more time and it worked! The Alexa setup was as easy as following the instruction to install an Alexa skill. It's annoying to have to us the old school "Alexa Ask __Kohler_" to get her to talk to the faucet. Once working, you can say "Alexa, Ask Kohler to dispense 1 quart of water". It seems like once she is aware, you don't have to say Ask Kohler the second time. Hope this helps. BTW, once I was done setting her up, I found the second sink was leaking...back to the hardware store!Kohler Support was not needed, mostly because they are only available M-F 9-5pm. My friend mbeadle did point out the resetting more than once might be needed. Here is a link to the installation manual: https://www.us.kohler.com/webassets/kpna/catalog/pdf/en/1387795_2.pdfPAGE 9 extract: Connect Your FaucetDownload the KOHLER Konnect App.Follow the App instructions to connect to your faucet.NOTE: Setup must be completed within 10 minutes. When the Connector Status LED illuminates red, the system isready for mobile app setup. If the Connector Status LED is flashing red, unplug the powercord to reset the system. When the Connector Status LED is flashing red and green, thesystem is setting up.When the Connector Status LED illuminates green, the system isready for use.If the Connector Status LED is flashing green, the routerconnection was lost. Verify that the router is powered on andwithin range. If the Connector Status LED does not illuminate green, anelectronics reset is needed.Electronics ResetOpen the handle to turn the faucet on.Wave a hand over the sensor to turn the faucet off.Close the handle.Repeat the above steps 10 times in 1 minute to clear the profileinformation. If the above sequence is broken the count will resetto zero.

Kohler Konnect Wont Connect/Sensor under the arch is a very poor design.
This faucet will not connect to the Kohler Konnect App unless you have a dedicated 2.4ghz network in your home that your phone or mobile device connects to. About a year ago I installed a wi-fi mesh network which broadcasts both the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz signals simultaneously and does not allow the user to disable either of the signals. At the time it was a clear upgrade to go with a mesh network. I also have an iPhone XSMAX which does not allow a user to disable one or the other types of networks. Kohler Konnect can only be configured with a 2.4ghz network from a mobile device which is connected to the 2.4ghz network also. So now I'm stuck with a faucet which can only be operated manually. Also the sensor placed under the arch of the faucet was a bad design flaw. Any hot water which creates steam will cause the faucet to shut off and turn on repeatedly. It makes washing dishes problematic. As I purchased this faucet months in advance of my kitchen remodel I am no longer able to return it either. I had high hopes for this technology, but it now appears I am stuck with a faucet and out the sizeable cost. :-(

Worth the effort to install
I love this faucet not that it is installed. To install watch the installation video on Kohler’s website. Directions that co e with it are missing a few steps. We ended up calling Kohler customer service for help with connecting to the router because it had issues. However. They answered quickly, were really helpful and got it working. It works best with google, our echos are less efficient responding and you have to say more words with amazon products. I just say “hey google turn on the faucet” and it works. Alexa you have to say, “Alexa tell Kohler to turn on The kitchen faucet.” Overall I am very a happy with the faucet.

Very disappointed
Says it works with Apple HomeKit (Siri) and Alexa. With Siri you can only turn it on and off. And that you only find out in the instruction manual. With Alexa it should dispense any amount of water you tell it to, but it hasn't worked yet and Kohler can't figure out why. Don't waste your money!

Sensor Sucks
Ok, so I have had this Faucet for 1 year and I have never been able to get it to connect to my 2.4/5.0 home network and now the sensor seems to be failing. The "No touch" feature is sporadic at best and my wife and I have just gone back to manual operation since we never know when it is going to work. My opinion... buy something else :(

Works great as a faucet, but won’t connect to my phone.
If you need water to pour out of a nice looking kitchen faucet, this product works very well. If you’d like it to connect to your phone as it’s advertised to do, don’t bother - it doesn’t work.

Does not work with HomeKit
Does not work with HomeKit! Tech support said an update will fix it in the future but didn’t know when.

Buyer beware
1st off, you need a plug under your sink to plug it in. Extra $$$$ to hire plumber electrician to set it up. 2nd app is horrible, check reviews in app store. Basically, I paid for a 2nd Kohler, 1st lasted 4 years (piece of 💩) than leaked, $$$repairing under sink. Now this one works as a faucet but that's it. 3rd faucet will not be a Kohler.
