You can adjust the length of the rope by removing the cap at the end of the handle, push the rope into the handle so the end comes out and you see a small cap on the tip of the rope. Separate this into two parts and you can slide the rope through them. Push the pieces back together and slide the end of the rope back into the handle. Put the end cap of the handle back on. If you want, you can cut off the excess rope when you are sure it's the right length.

Good weight. Handles are just a bit short making it a bit uncomfortable for a adult.

My wife bought me this on a bet I couldn't jump rope any longer.This is good quality and comfortable to hold and it is easy to control the speed as the rope portion is the right weight.The bet is settled and I've still got it!

Nice that the length can be customized, but it gets all twisted as you jump.

I use this in my garage several times a week. I'm 6 ft and didn't cut it at all. It's a good length and is a great rope.
