Icon Health and Fitness Treadmill Lubricant

Did what it was supposed to do.

After applying this lubricant to my ProForm treadmill, I was able to loosen the belt tightness a little and still have it work. I think it is working better and perhaps will last longer since the belt is under less stress. It seem kind of expensive compared to other lubricants, but this is what the manufacture recommends, and I didn't want to take a chance.

This made a world of difference in how smooth my treadmill that I bought used works, before applying this while trying to run on the treadmill every once in a while the running belt would temporarily stick and about make me trip. After applying the lube it hasn't happened once. Just a tip that the instructions doesn't mention to apply the lube you need to loose the walking belt so you can get your hand underneath it far enough to reach the middle to you get it on evenly over the entire belt. This is the lube that my ProForm Crosswalk treadmill called for in the manual, it is a non-silicon based lube.

It’s expensive for the amount you get. You will need two packs for one maintenance. It’s also hard to apply using the tiny package. As far as the lubricant itself...seems to be good quality. It’s the only lubricant approved by Nordictrak that I could find. Apparently this lubricant is required as it’s resistant to the high friction produced by Nordictrak treadmill belts.

This is the same silcon lube recommended by Proform / Icon for my Proform 4500 treadmill. One tube per application. Comes with an instruction sheet although it did not mention loosening the tension of the walking belt to ease access across the entire walking deck - a critical step, IMO, for complete and much easier lubrication. Very smart choice for a third of the cost that Proform wanted for the same exact item.....so I bought three!

Worked fine. The shipping on the website for my treadmill was way to expensive, so this is a great alternative. It's EXACTLY the same stuff. I have a Weslo Cadence 5

I have a ProForm treadmill and it recommends this type of lubricant. It is wax based and not silicone. The book flat out says not to use a silicone based belt lubricant. My old ProForm lasted 15 years. Hopefully I get that long out of this one. And a little TLC doesn't hurt.

Treated my treadmill beat very good and finally there was no stopping...if your belt is not treated good there will friction and cause the motor to automatically stop well i treated my belt with icon as it recommended and perfect no stopping this product I give thumbs up!!!!
