Reliability Issues but Outstanding Write Speed
This drive is 7 times faster than my previous backup external drive. Actual transfer speed is approximately 210 MBs. I noticed complaints about this drive coming formatted for Apple but, while a little strange, it was not a significant inconvenience. It also has a power on/off switch which my old drive didn't have. My 2TB incremental back-up takes Iess than a minute and full takes less than an hour. Unfortunately the drive started intermittently disconnecting from my computer and I had to get a replacement. The replacement drive would not format on a Type "A" USB 3.0 connector and would only format on a Type "C" connector. I will say that when I contacted Glyph they were very responsive. I'll probably rate this a 4 stars if the replacement is solid. As always, I got great support from Amazon on the problems.

Slowwww. Cheaper AMD drives process faster.
This drive is very reliable. Zero issues after using it for over a dozen films and TV shows. However, it’s showing its age and moves data very slowly. Transcoding dailies off this took 40% longer than on a cheapo AMD drive.I do recommend it for traveling as the rubber supports are great and again, it works very reliably .

Lost Data and Stopped Working
Terrible product. we had multiple terabytes of data on this device and it suddenly stopped working. we reached out to Glyph regarding the data recovery, but they were not able to do that and we lost all of our data

Frustrating for Windows 10 users
This blackbox pro is configured for a MAC. When you plug it into a Windows 10 machine it doesn’t show up until you go into disk management and delete the large volume and create a new simple drive from the unallocated space. Pain in the butt. Help on Glyph website was inadequate and incomplete.

Fast with durability concerns and frustrating customer support.
The drive is undeniably fast.However, persistent issues with the drive unmounting itself. Getting quite loud and ultimately, failing. Glyph customer support is at best arrogant and after paying to ship the unit back, it was returned with more problems. Artists have struggled with the reliability of these drives across our studio on a number of machines and we will not be using them moving forward.
