This a really awesome product I added this to my hydroponic system because I had a terrible infection of Pythian. My plants looked like they were wilting from the lack of water intake and the roots were slimy and brown. My local hydrostoreguy told me this would work and I found it on Amazon cheaper than the stores. He was right! In under a week my roots turned white and grew new white adventitious roots. The plants no longer look wilted and are growing super fast. I highly recommend this product for anyone growing in hydroponics.

Testing this for non-hydroponic plants - I have hard water
If you are trying this indoors for non-hydroponic needs, a little quart jug should last you approximately, oh, forever. The 1 - 2 ml per gallon of water specified in the instructions translates to no more than a scant half teaspoon/gallon -- that's about 1/8 tspn or 10 eyedropper drops per quart of water.I've turned to this product as someone who has lived in various parts of the U.S., but I've never before faced the kind of HARD hard water that currently runs from my tap. I could use distilled for my plants, but the cost adds up after a while, and inevitably I forget to add a gallon to my shopping list. The result is extra stress for my plants, and I'm pretty sure it accounts for why my "lucky bamboo" plants (dracaena) have been failing when I've always had success with these in other places I've lived. (I already faithfully leave tap water sitting for 48 hours before use so that the scant quantity of chlorine added to the water by municipal plants evaporates.)I've used this in my watering can going on three weeks and my peaked plants do seem happier looking, but time will tell if this product is good for sustained use outside of the intended (hydroponic) usage. I'm hopeful, and happy to make myself a guinea pig for the cause here. So far my only certainty is that the product will lose efficacy *long* before I run out of supply!
