Update:After a year and a half of heavy use, the black started to run away from the cover and the material started to stretch so that it no longer is a perfect fit on the keys. I also noticed that it has left a mark on my screen. I was able to wipe most of it off, but that's something to keep in mind when buying the product. Make sure to have a screen cover or microfiber keyboard cover. However, that's a common issue and I didn't expect the cover to last forever, so it still fulfilled my expectations.-------------------------------------------I didn't know these could vary in quality from brand to brand but this one is definitely better than one of the ones I've gotten for free. It's less stretchy and after some typing the material hasn't changed at all. It is easy to apply and stays put when you type. It doesn't slow me down at all. I can still see the light enough through this to type. I can fully touch type though, so it's not a huge problem to me either way.

With this keyboard cover, it's easy to clean the laptop's keyboard. Since there are spaces in the original keyboard that gathers dust and dirt, this cover allows easy access to just tossing those off the computer without ruining it. It's very cheap (price) and useful. I would recommend you buying this. You'll feel better about keeping a clean keyboard for your expensive laptop.

I searched all over Amazon for the best keyboard cover for my Macbook Pro M1 and of course had problems finding the right one. I kept finding these 4.5 star reviewed covers but the top reviews were all one-star saying to "stay away" from it. I then came across this one. The only top review that is one-star is someone complaining that you can't see the backlit keyboard as well. This is true, but it also should be common sense that when you are putting a colored keyboard cover over a backlit keyboard that it's naturally going to block a lot of light from getting through.However, it's not like it blocks it out completely. You can still see a dim glow from the keyboard. And I've honestly never relied on the keyboard being backlit in any of my laptops because I go off of my own touch. So yes, if being able to clearly see a backlit keyboard is your biggest issue then you may want to go with a clear cover. If you're fine with at least a little glow and are comfortable enough typing by your own touch then buy this one.I can't speak to the long-term durability of this as I've only had it for a couple of days, but it does feel really nice and it doesn't interfere with my typing speed. It also has the added benefit of making the keyboard even quieter when typing. It adds this kind of rubbery friction to the keys too which makes you have a better grip when typing than using the standard keyboard.Overall, if you're on the fence, I would buy it. Especially if you want to add some color to your Macbook (mine matches the Fishskyn I bought). If you have problems with seeing the keys at night, then maybe purchasing a clear cover or one with a bright color (such as red) can help. The only complaint I have is that the cover seems to lift ever so slightly from the space bar portion. I do think as the cover settles into place over time that this will become a non-issue.

Pretty nice keyboard protector. Fits my 13in MacBook Pro perfectly. Easy to get used to typing on it. Of course it does slightly take away from the tactile feel of an unprotected keyboard but if you want the protection not much you can do about that. I do think the protection is definitely worth it given that it is pretty easy to type on.

I have used this brand of covers for years. They have saved my career several times especially on long air flights by repelling spills. The also save your hands from key impact on the shallow mac keyboard if you are a fast typist like I am. The downside is that typing on it also stretches it out, so it buckles and wrinkles in the middle. It's ugly and also lets liquid slip underneath. For me, that happens very quickly, as in less than a week. I would prefer a thicker one that does not stretch out so easily.

This is probably the best key cover I’ve ever purchased. It doesn’t slip it’s comfortable it hasn’t gotten dirty easily like I a few others I purchased from other companies. The only problem I had was very minor it’s the light cutout for the cap lock is a little too big but it’s not really noticeable but everything else is great don’t miss out on your chance to get one you won’t regret it 😁

The packaging came covered in some sticky residue. Which I was grossed out but easily got over. However this keyboard cover doesn’t sit correctly in my key board at all. It falls off easily and doesn’t, for lack of better words “click into place”. I wouldn’t buy again.

The media could not be loaded. The product is great for a regular MacBook Air however it clearly states that it is compatible with the MacBook Pro 2020 keyboard model, I had checked the model code in the back of my MacBook box before purchasing as well to make sure it was right. However this product is not compatible AT ALL with the MacBook Pro, it covers the MacBook Pro’s touchbar which is one of the best features that needs access. This is not a good product for the MacBook Pro as it does not go with or suit the Mac at all. I am returning this immediately

On the package, it says for touchbar. However, it completely covers my touchbar and does not fit properly on the 2020 13'' Macbook Pro.

Despite being labeled for the new macbook with touchbar it is actually the one for the older macbook without the touchbar

Absolutely wrong item, does not fit my MacBook Pro 13 inch A2289. Extremely dissatisfied.
