This seemed like a great bag for an affordable price. The material used for the bag is pretty durable, BUT, one of the seems came undone after the first day use. It would be a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the busted seem. UPDATE- customer service reached out after the first review and not only refunded me my money, but sent me another shooters bag. The customer service is definitely 5 star service!!

At first glance the product appears to be very sturdy. The material is thick and tough feeling. Unfortunately, the stitching is single needle only and the thread is weak. The seam tore out at the base of the filler tube on the large bag when I was filling it with sand. There was not much torque or stress on the bag at the time. Just filling the bag with sand and tamping it down. Riiiiiiippp! I could not believe it. Close observation showed that a 1.5 inch tear in the seam had occurred. I sewed it up with strong thread as it should have been to begin with. The bag is well worth the money if the seams would hold up past the fill-up stage. If you don't mind doing some sewing if it tears, or risking sand all over your gun at the range, then this product will be okay. If you want a strong rip-proof bag, look elsewhere. I down-graded the rating simply because you should not have to repair your bag before it is even used. All they need is to have upgraded thread and better stitching, and the bag would be a great value. I am adding to my original review as the seller was persistent in trying to make it right with me. They offered me a refund or replacement on several occasions which I ignored as I did not want to deal with them and had already repaired the bag to my satisfaction. I was not interested in getting my money back as that is not my style if I was keeping the bag. The persisted and assured me that I did not have to send the original order back and I just had to choose if I wanted the money or a replacement bag. I told them to send me another bag so that I could see if my original bag was an aberration. Well, I got the replacement and just filled it with sand. This time I took pains not to lift the bag by the filler tube as it tore at the base of the tube the first time. No problems and the bag is nicely filled. I studied the stitching and it appeared to me that the stitching on bag #2 was tighter. I got out the original bag, a measuring tape and a flashlight. The original bag has 7 stitches to the inch and the second bag has 8 stitches per inch. It is markedly tighter looking and feeling. I have no idea if bag #1 or #2 is the norm as I only have a 2 bag sampling. I just know that bag #2 appears to be sturdier. Kudos to the seller for making efforts to satisfy their customer. Thank you for the support. I upgraded my review to 4 stars for the effort and the apparent improvement to the stitching. I have not used it to make a further determination due to my gun club being closed by the COVID 19 pandemic.

Filled these with almost 50 lbs of steel ballast shot. Easy to fill and do not leak. Cloth on the top of the front bag seems a little thin, we'll see how it holds up.

If you needed something spur of the moment, say you dropped your rifle and were checking the scope at a hunt camp--maybe.But if you are trying to sight in a new rifle or scope, or spending some time target shooting, it is a waste.Smaller than dimensions given in ad.Well made, just not big enough

These need to be filled with sand but once filled I have zeroed 1/2 dozen rifles with no problem. For the money if you need a good rest for your rifles at the range, I believe these will affordably meet your need. There are fancier gun rests but at the end of the day these will get the job done without breaking the bank. Filling them is the only part I did not care for but hey, kept the shipping costs down so yeah, I get it, no big deal. If it is for you cool, go to the Farm Supply store and pay twice as much, but if you have a budget like me, rather spend my extra money on Ammo!

Be warned, the TCO will increase when you add the stuffin' - quite a bit. It'll hold more than you think it will, and end up 'spensive, maybe, but this one is made of a better grade of material, 900D, whatever that means, but half again better than the ten dollar one. I usually pay more to get quality, and this one is really nice. It works quite well, and I like the comfort and stability it adds to every shot. Well worth it. Try one; you'll like it.

Looks good, haven't felled them yet. So haven't had them out to try.
