Easy to use and does a great job.
I've been looking at cup burrs for weeks now, trying to figure out exactly what I needed for wire-wrapped jewelry making. It seems that most cup burrs or wire rounders are meant to go with a rotary tool, and the correct size cup must be paired with each gauge wire. Not so with this little manual version.I have been working with 20, 21, 22, and 24 gauge wires, and this tool fits all of them. The 20 gauge JUST fits into the cup, so do not try to use with anything thicker - but 20 gauge and thinner fits and works well. It seems that the secret to serving multiple gauges is the dome-shaped inner cup, which I took some high-resolution photographs of and will add them to the items's pictures, along with some before-and-after pics of the end of some 20-gauge brass wire.It is easiest to use by holding your wire very close to the end with pliers (to prevent the wire from just bending away from the tool under pressure), pressing into the cup and twisting the tool a few times. My wire from the photos was rounded in 2-3 full 360° turns total. With the way people talk about needing a rotary tool for wire rounding, I was really surprised at how easy this was to use (no "elbow grease" needed, really). The edges of my brass wire felt sharp after cutting - not comfortable to put through ear piercings at all, but this tool rounded the wires enough to pass very comfortably through as an earwire.Great tool for wires no thicker than 20-gauge! Thanks so much Amazon for carrying this!

Doesn't get the job done properly
I tried this item with 16 and 18 gauge wire and it does not completely round the ends. The size, feel and handling of the tool are easy, but it doesn't quite get the job done. While the edges of the wire receive a nice smooth finish, the top center portion remains rough and unfinished. Even tilting the tool at an angle to try to catch the middle does not help. Do not recommend.

Perfect for the job.
I made ear wires and smoothed the edge that goes through the ear, for a smaller gauged wire it was very easy to use.

Wonderful product!
I'm a budding jewelry designer and I work with wire almost exclusively. I was looking for something that would round off wire after I cut it with my wire cutters, which leaves the wire rather pointed. This wire rounder works beautifully! I can work the wire much better after it's been rounded. I love this thing!

Blunt little tool
As hard as I tried I could not get this tool to work. I wound up purchasing a more expensive set of bur cups for my e-drill that work.

Good tool for wire work.
This tool works very well. It does take a little bit of time to get the hang of using it. Smoothing the end of wires for jewelry is very important, this tool is great. The price was fair and the service was great!

Sehr praktisch

Great tool for rounding wire for DIY earring hooks
The media could not be loaded. This is such a handy tool for making your own wire findings. I used the Beadalon 6-Step Looping pliers to create the hooks and soften the wire ends with the Beadalon rounder tool. Super fast and easy! I highly recommend this great quality tool.

Kleiner Helfer
Fazit: Empfehlenswert
