How can you not love a Duplo set that has cakes and a Grandma?
Since receiving this set, my 2-yr-old granddaughter creates a birthday celebration in Duplo Land every day. The Duplo Grandma arrives in the bakery truck with the cakes. A small plastic straw fits on the top of each cake as a candle. The Duplo “guests” arrive and singing begins.This was the best addition to the Duplo blocks we already had. (Everything is very sturdy and well made.)

Adorable Duplo Set
My 4 year old granddaughter loves this set. She put it together yesterday without help. The little mixer, cupcakes, and 2 cakes are adorable. She noticed right away that one was a unicorn cake very similar to the one she had for her birthday. Duplos are so well made. You won't be disappointed with this set.

Cute set with awesome figures just right for little hands
The media could not be loaded. We are LEGO people in our household and this set went through rigorous 2 year old niece testing and big brother testing as well! LolFirstWe all know that there are not very many 2 year olds interested in “building” their toys. The van snapped together with just 2 pieces and the figures were already assembled so they became the center of this toy for her while the adults built it. Simple to put together. Her 6 year old brother did it in a heartbeat. Kudos for the Duplo brand of legos for not including the god awful...seemingly obligatory...stickers! Yay...now do that across the brand please and thank you.SecondWatch the short video and you’ll see some flaws in the play aspect of the bakery. Could we not make the “oven” LEGO piece wide enough for the cake? I was baffled by this glaring fault in the sea of LEGO brands normal precision processes. It was frustrating for everyone.And that leaves me with this conclusion...The set was cute, colorful and easy to build...the under 5 set is going to need help with the build but it genuinely takes minutes. Duplo gets an entire star UP for leaving off the stickers! No pesky application to ruin key pieces. They also get 3 firm stars for the great van and the, not so mini, figures. Even the glasses do not come off in case you’re worried about that tiny piece.The play factor of the van and figures are where this set shines. Our little tester tossed the cake in the back of the van and “fed” it to any mouth she ran across...watch this with pets LOL. My Bullmastiff was sure it was a setup and refused to take the nibble. I had to fish it out of my English bulldogs mouth though...he’s mostly a goat but...could be an issue.The bakery languishes with no love but I’m certain I spotted the pastel roof tiles on my nephews LEGO car the other day so all is not lost!4, they need a bigger play oven, stars!
