Yumbox Original Leakproof Bento Lunch Box Container for Kids (Lila Purple)

I love these Yumbox containers! I bought one for my older daughter and now my younger since she’s starting pre-k. Perfect portions and it seals so yogurt or applesauce won’t spill into the other portions. Sturdy and easy to clean. Insert can go dishwasher top rack, outside box hand wash. Love them! Fits perfectly in the pottery barn McKenzie lunch box.

This is the third YumBox I've purchased because I have three kids. It is much better than other competitive brands. The sections are great sizes. I just throw the insert in the dishwasher. The first two I've had are already 5&7 years old and still going strong. The art doesn't scratch off. On my olders ones I am just now noticing the closure isn't as tight, but we use them basically every day. So these last. They are so helpful to feed kids on the go, at school or even hiking. We literally take them everywhere with us and my kids love them.

My first purchase of a similar lunch box was returned due to my child spilling her lunch because the box was so difficult to open (latched closed on all 4 sides), however this one is great for her!! The portion sizes are good for her, but I could see it maybe not meeting the needs as kids get a little older. It is easy for her to open, has had no lost lunches and she enjoys having everything portioned out. In fact, she no helps pack her lunch.I saw other complain of the pictures wearing away, I have not had this issue I think for two reasons.1) I do not put the case or the insert into the dishwasher, hand wash only.2) I do not scrub the bottom. I gently wipe clean with soap and water and dry over night.I hope to find a bigger version of this product as my daughter gets older. I find it comforting to have packed a healthy lunch for my child that she will enjoy and have no issue getting too. You will enjoy this product, BONUS, fits in standard lunch box zip top bags, with room to spare for an ice pack and a bag snack, like chips etc.

After reading reviews for other bento box lunch kits, I purchased this one because I wanted something leak proof and with a latch that would not break. I sent my daughter back to school 100% in person so we have been using this bento box almost every day and the latch to close it is very sturdy. We have had no leaks and it’s so adorable and easy to clean. The clear divided part where you put the food in actually pops out of the box for easier cleaning so that is nice. And it fit snugly in her standard sized lunch kit that we picked up from Target. Overall a really great purchase and would definitely recommend!

We love our yumbox! Our toddler can open and close on her own which is great when we are snacking on the go. The only issue we have- our daughter loves bbq sauce for dipping but even with diligent washing, the rubber top stained after only 1 or 2 uses. I know it's sanitary, so not a deal breaker but it definitely is an eyesore!

I was really excited about the yumbox, and I really want to like it. It is very sturdy and always a conversation starter. It’s relatively easy to clean. There are two things that, considering the cost, make these not worth buying:1. It leaks when put on its side. Im sick of cleaning raspberry juices out of my lunchbox.2. I don’t like how there are holes on the bottom side of the plastic insert that hold water. They are also are so small that it makes it difficult to towel dry.I expect well-thought design and leak proof for that much money.

Love it cute doesn't leak nice and compact but 1 star off bc compartments are VERY small and do not accommodate even small things like a wrap or even 1/4 of a sandwich. This best suits "grazers" who like loose snacks. Otherwise works very well and easy to clean. Silicone lid can absorb smells so simply spread a baking soda paste for an HR or so and clean like normal.

Way too small. 😕It’s cute but the photo is deceiving- I thought it would have been big enough to fit a wrap as the picture depicts. Still in search of a lunch box I can use for my daughter

I held off for months buying a Yumbox purely because of the price but I’m kicking myself now!It’s such a brilliant lunch box, nothing leaks between compartments & fruit even apples stay fresh!I’ve wasted so much money buying other ones for them to leak or not keep freshIf you’re holding back, don’t!! Buy it, you won’t regret it

thought the size of it a waste of time

My toddler loves this, great way to present food attractively, she's very attached to it. Makes life much easier to have lunch prepared the night before, put it in the fridge and get it out without fussing! It took her a while to get to be strong enough to open it (almost 3 years now). Have not yet tried to get her to close latch fully, it is quite a firm fit.

Love it excellent product, don’ waste money in other bento boxes.
