Effective
Bought this for a company car, where rats have been chewing on some wires that connects the a.c system. This unit was recommended by the auto shop. It's been a month now and so far so good.

Very happy! Incredibly responsive to an issue I’d run into.
I’ve had several rid-a-rats over many years and they seem to be doing the trick as I haven’t had any vermin problems.I like the magnetic feature, though I have lost a couple. I suspect that one may have been due to theft, unfortunately. With this most recent purchase, it suddenly just stopped working. The seller got on it immediately and sent me a replacement which has been working just fine. Could not have asked for a better outcome.

Serves it's purpose
It seems to be working to deter mice and rats from getting under the hood of my mom's car. We are using the magnet to attach under the hood. It fell off the first time as she was driving away. Thankfully it happened in the driveway. She is playing it safe and removing it when leaving then putting it under the hood again when parking at home. We may try to find a way to attach it more securely. At least it does what's it's supposed to so far.

So far it is working. I am happy that my son-in-law told me about this product.

Pests are expensive. So is fighting them.
We have two of these in our Ford, one in the old Jeep, one each in the solana windows next to two entry doors. They seem to work well against the mice and pack rats that like to enter and have definitely saved us a great deal these past two years on auto repair and kept the ugly dropping away from our entry. However, these are not sufficient if you live in an area with heavy rodent population. You also need a good exterminator, who uses plenty of bait that will not harm birds, coyotes or dogs if they catch a poisoned pest.Killing is a hard decision to make. But often it comes down to whether or not you want to continue living with the expense and dirt of mice and pack rats. Also, where we live, they carry disease that can be harmful to both us and our pets.We just purchased five units for a small home we visit only occasionally. I hope they work as this time the mice made us throw away a great deal and cleaning their trails with bleach was an ugly task I do not want to have to repeat the next time we are there. I will also try a trick a friend recommended. Saturate cotton balls with peppermint oil and spread them about the place. I have purchased peppermint oil in the past from Amazon and put it about the car. It did not work. Neither did moth balls in trays under it. However, we did not try the cotton ball technique and will do so this time. All the best of luck with your pests and I certainly hope they have not cost you as much money as ours has us.

The proof will be in the rat-ridding
The product is sturdy and the magnets are good and strong. The real rating will come when we see how well it deters the pack rats from my car wiring. It was suggested to me by my next door neighbor who has not had any critters in his car. Our driveways are only about 40 feet apart.

Really Works!
Have one in my truck and car, not rats nest at all.
