Absolutely worth the price and essential to any surface pro purchase.
I will say first off, I am no techno guru by any means. I just wanted to protect this Surface Pro because I expect it to last several years. It felt too thin and slippery with nothing, even when I had a keyboard attached. Inside the box there was a plastic bag holding the cover for the Surface pro, then the cover for the kick stand. There was a piece of paper that showed how to attach. It said if you have any questions watch a video on Amazon where you purchased it. I of course thought I don't need that lol. The kick stand cover is best installed when you slide it on and then it will slide into place with a click when the end of the tabs on the piece reach the edge of the kickstand. Then look to see which side of the cover has the wholes cut out for USB etc. With your kickstand extended, slide it in to place. The corners the did have to push down gently to get them to pop in to place. If you want to attach a keyboard, now is the time to do so. There is nothing obstructing the area where the keyboard slips into place. If you attach a keyboard, when you put it in the closed position there is a little rubber sleeve that goes over the corner and keeps the keyboard next to your screen to protect it. If you choose not to use a keyboard you might want to consider the tempered glass to put on the front of your surface pro. This is an expensive piece of equipment that will last for several years, if taken care of. I love that the cover holds my pen in place, as I feared loosing it. It is such an amazing addition to the pro, and so much can be done with it. My original keyboard had a problem in the mouse area so I returned it. However the way it is made with the area to fold over to the front of the machine, makes the keyboard feel floppy and not very secure. Honestly I feel the best option is to go with a bluetooth keyboard if you want one. However there is a quite adequate keyboard when it is in tablet mode. Easy to lay down in your lap and type or text. After seeing a few options I feel like I will rarely use my keyboard. As far as color names are concerned, I believe this is the one failure. I fully understand the consistency with what Microsoft calls the colors for the keyboard pens, and mouse. I however would in no way consider that a cobalt blue. Which is on the edge of the spectrum between blue and purple. This is more of a dark teal in my opinion. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and feel like my machine is much better protected now. Very light weight. I would recommend that anyone who purchases the surface pro should pick one up to protect your investment.

Protective well
Works very well. The Pro is very snug and secure once fitted in the case. It looks good and easy to access all of the buttons and ports. it looks good and is very solid. Fantastic protective case for my surface pro 6, Great product for the price, Great cover that protects the Surface pro well, very satisfied with itThe design is very nice. Very well built. Has a wonderful premium feel to it. The textured outer material feels much better than the usual PU leather cases you often see. The colour on it is extremely pretty. Superb Build quality Delighted! On operation, the case is pretty good, and allows you to adjust the hinge etc. And also fits the surface pro keyboard in the case.Good design, well made. The surface pro sits securely in the cover. Love this cover. It works really well as a stable platform for me to work on my Surface Pro 6 on my knee while sitting on the sofa. The Surface Pro 6's kickstand as some peeps may know is prone to bending and flexing and if you break it Microsoft do not make spares for this (don’t know why not?). When I broke my OEM kickstand it took ages for me to find a 2nd hand one from the USA and this was in 2nd rate condition. So if you own a Surface you need to protect the kick stand and this case does exactly that (So hence the 5 Stars) The fold out gives lots of extra support under the keyboard. It sits really well on my knee (I'm 6' 1") so I don't know if it would sit well on everyone. Everything folds up nicely, Good price, delivered nice and quick next day on Prime so no grumbles here.Definitely recommend using this cover to have that extra surface (ha!) when using the Surface with Type Cover on your lap and other non flat surfaces or when using outside home environment. The flap is quite fragile, the device itself is prone to scratching and you would be unhappy to know there is no such replacement part from Microsoft.Product arrived sooner than expected and looks quite fashionably business appropriate. It holds the Surface well with the Type Cover, will make it bulkier but for your extra peace of mind when going out with the Surface it's deffo worth it.And I make a short conclusion as below:Pros:1. Construction: The case is faily well built, the rim is rubber, It is more resistant to bending and twisting than other case.2. The stand: This case has its own stand. It is full width, infintitely adjustable, strong and steady, just like the SP6 own stand. It is plastic but it has two rubber feet that help it grips the table. While it is not as good as the original's metal stand, it is very close. It is an acceptable compromise given the SP6 will remain protected inside the case. Designs that use the SP6own stand for support tends to leave the stand area partly or fully exposed, and that represents a structual weakness. In that sense this SP6 case will offer better protection. The full width stand makes it easier to rest on your lap than the partial width stand found in the cases.3. Pen stroage: The case has a strip on the side, so the pen can attached to the case just like a normal SP6.4. Installation. The SP6 clips into this case easily and it is also fairly easy to remove. In comparison, the other seller's case has a very tight fit, it is so tight that I worry whether it may damage the SP6. Removing the SP6 from the other seller's case requires nerve of steel and two spatulars. The SP6 has to be pried out of the case, and everytime I have to do this (e.g. access the mircoSD, read the serial number etc...) I risk cracking the screen and damaging the SP6 from the amout of force requires to dig the SP6 out of the case. Finally, at the time of purcahse, the SP6 case is deserve thisn price, which makes choosing this a no brainer. If you want to buy a case for your SP6, get this one. Even if you ignore the price difference, just the kickstand alone is sufficient for choosing this case. The ease of installation and removal is also a major advantage to consider.Just right for protecting my Surface Pro. Gives great protection with or without the stand, I use it everyday. Good build and surface feels protected.Great after service, friendly, professional and treat you like a VIP. Would highly recommend this case to all new SP6 users!

Not too bad Surface Pro 6 case
Update: I ended up keeping this case. The plastic sleeve is still annoyingly cheap looking but I haven't had any issues with the case at all. I'm confident in the durability and protection of it.I'm going to use this one until the other one I ordered comes in and then decide between the two. It is a little difficult to install. I do not have a glass screen protector. I have a film screen protector and it still pulled up at two of the corners. I trimmed the protector to fit without raising. You can't tell that I cut it with the keyboard on. If yours is off on any different corner, it will pull up there and you'd have to decide if you want to trim it or not.You have to be sure that your surface is charging because the bevel where the cord goes is awkward. I found that out the hard way, thinking it was charging for over 20 minutes and it wasn't. The case works fine with the keyboard. USB port has no issues. I don't really like the clip on thing for the stand. I'm leaving it on for the protection but it's ugly and cheap looking because it's just a hard plastic sleeve. I do like that I have the full use of the stand because my old case had it's own 4 levels and that's it. We'll see how it goes the next few days until I decide which of the two I will have is better.
