ZAMP SOLAR 80P Portable Charge Kit

This is a great quality product. The size is compact and has done a great job for the two days I have used it. If I were to buy this product again, I would spend the extra to buy the 120 watt version as it would get a little more charge during shadow or cloudy times.

D.O.A. . I've owned this unit less than 5 minutes and the controller doesn't work, right out of the box. I've verified connections, and tried it on two different, fully charged batteries; with similar results. Product quality looks great, out of the box; but my 500 dollars bought a paper weight. Very disappointed in Zamp. I'm sending it back for a refund, and really considering the GoPower unit. Good luck folks.Signed,$500 dollar American Made HasslePS - At this price range....really?

We use this with our camper that was prewired for Zamps and all is good with it.

Expensive, but high quality. Nice carrying case too. Surprisingly heavy it seems to me but less chance of it being blown around as it sits outside.

Love this product as I bought it for my trailer which was prewired for Zamp systems. I already have 160W of panels on the roof but can not always get a great parking spot for the sun. These portable panels allow me to make sure 1/3 of my system is pointing at the sun at all times.I got a faulty controller and Zamp in Oregon replaced it with no questions asked. I just sent the bad one back to them and they paid the postage. Nice to see good customer service.

I'm giving it three stars because the legs are too short. This prevents you from getting the optimum panel angle to make the most use of the Suns energy. I tried different angles and got almost a 1 amp difference. This adds up big time in the long run.

Zamp Solar 80P panel performs beyond my expectations. First time out with it the battery charge was maintained at full charge for four days with my travel trailer. The skies were clear and sunny most of the time which definitely helped. I'd recommend Zamp Solar panels to anyone looking to capture the energy from the sun.

Great product, keeps my camper battery charged.

The charge kit works great. We use it off grid for botg a teardrop and 27 ft trailer. No issues at all. Obviously, this works at peak when there is more sun vs less sun.
