SolterraGarden Hose Y with Shut-offs

Best I've had. Works perfectly.
I wish I could give more stars. I bought a brass splitter at my neighborhood big Depot store and every one of the faucets leaked. I tried Teflon tape, over tightening and filing to get a hose attached with no leaks.I decided to try this one and I'm glad I did. Every outlet was leak free without using a wrench to tighten or take to seal. It is bigger than the all brass one I bought at the Depot.

The best home use manifold I've used
This is probably the most durable manifold I've used. The brass do great but valves fail quickly from lime/calcium & then you break the little plastic valve handle. I would recommend taking this before each season & fully submerging in CLR overnight. Then WD-40 it up & you're good to go.

Insane Pressure Drop with the splitter
First i will say that the build of this splitter seems very nice. Feels like it would hold up the Texas Heat and weather. But unfortunately the pressure drop the splitter is huge. This was supposed to replace a two way splitter to make room for a third sprinkler. No i was not trying to flow three sprinkler heads all at once, i know better than that. i only want to flow one at a time. Just don't want to have to go out and disconnect hoses and reconnect them. But the one sprinkler that has been working great, would not even turn. Just barely spitting out water. Took this one off put my old two way back on and everything is back to normal. Returning this one to look for another solution. Sorry solterra, just can't afford that much pressure drop.

took it out of the box today
it was time to get my garden planted so took this out of the box today. It is easy to hook up but I found the right side leaks water from the on and off handle. I would like to exchange it but I bought it the end of January and I am not given the option of returning for a new one.

Not full flow
I thought it was full flow. It’s not. Will probably return.

Leaked right out of the box
I connected this today and as soon as I turned the water on it started leaking from one of the shut off switches. I sat on hold for quite a while with orbit before giving up. This is going back.

Ball valve will FAIL. Water leaks past shut valve.
Originally I had a lot of faith in this thing.. 2 short months later it failed. Feels solid and heavy, valve function is nice and smooth. Until one day I noticed a constant drip from a hose reel, which was connected to this (Solterra 58623) hose manifold via a 10ft leader hose. Water pressure is always applied to manifold because of a watering timer I have attached at the #1 position (left to right, 1-4) Basically, it took me several days to realize I was wasting water caused by a faulty #3 valve. Even with valve shut, water still presses through. Provided no indication prior to failure. In fact, faulty valve still seems to open and close okay. I even removed the manifold, cleaned all valves with compressed air to remove any potential debris, and reinstalled. Made no difference, #3 still leaks. Only 2 months of use. Do NOT trust this product! Or, stop/turn off water supply to the manifold when not in use.

great quality hose splitter
i've used other versions of hose splitters and i'm pleasantly surprised on how well this one is designed and built. The valve handles are large enough to easily open & close and the shape of the entire splitter makes it really easy to install and remove each hose.

Total failure after one season
Worked fine for August/September last year. Fired it up again this year (April), and every outlet is spraying water out the sides. There is no way to tighten anything further. Any outlet whose flow valve is closed sprays water out the sides regardless of any hosing being attached, so even outlets with no hose attached will leak (the manifold itself has failed, not an attachment).Water was turned off for the winter, and it doesn't get that cold here, so it's just not built to last multiple seasons. Might do better if you detached everything and took it indoors for the winter, but I can't be arsed to redo thread sealant x5 each year and put stress on my hookup tap. I'm off to buy an all-metal manifold that doesn't use any plastic. It'll cost more, but you get what you pay for.

Just what I needed and it works great, no leaks.
