Worth the money, great product, works well, fast, and with no effort needed
This smart charger/rejuvenator works very well. It analyzes battery condition then performs what is needed, whether charging (which it does quickly and well) or desulfating. I've tried it on a number of batteries. On sulfated batteries that did not have a shorted cell, it worked well. When a battery is sulfated, it has white lead sulfate in battery cells. It's an insulator that block the plates from taking up charge. This charger removes it through voltage pulses that break it down and return the sulfur to the acid. During the conditioning process by the charger, I checked, looking through battery cell fill ports and over time saw the sulfate disappear and the battery regained chargeability. The process works great in car batteries and deep cycle batteries, I tested on both. Also it regenerated several (sealed) motorcycle batteries and has saved me having to spend $180+ for three new batteries. This is a great product, it shows battery condition, state of charge in 25% levels, and shows when it is automatically reconditioning a battery with desulfation pulsing. Reconditioning on my test batteries went fast, a couple of days each to get them back to nearly full capacity, and the batteries kept their ability to charge and hold charge.I have no negatives about this product, but I note that when a battery is very far discharged, the product may show it as bad and it will refuse to charge it, but if you can bulk charge the battery up a bit first, this charger will grab on and begin charging and reconditioning automatically. Some batteries cannot be recovered because they have shorted cells; no device can fix that when lead mossing bridges plates, not even this one.Summary: it works, it's easy to use, and it saved me a lot of money not having ro buy new batteries. Worth the money.

Got me (at least) one more year out of a $180 battery
I live on a farm, and feed cattle every day, all winter. The first day we had below freezing, the tractor cranked over slowly, and barely started. I put in on a trickle charger overnight, and it started fine the next morning, but within 2 days, it was barely starting again. I hooked up this Pulse-Tech to the tractor overnight, every night for about a week (it takes time to desulfate a battery) and the tractor started fine every day for the rest of the winter, down to below zero. 3 months later, and it is still cranking almost like a new battery. Curiosity got the best of me, so I took the cover off and found that the battery was 8 years old, and it made it almost like new.Now that I have had it a while, I have run a desulfating cycle on pretty much all my batteries, (close to a dozen in all) and in every case but one, there was a noticeable improvement in battery performance. I'm not talking about faster cranking the morning I take the battery off the charger (any trickle charger can do that) but rather faster cranking that has lasted all winter. Time will tell just how much life I will add to my batteries, but I already got one more winter out of a $180 tractor battery. The only battery that it didn't really help was one that only charged up to 11 volts or so no matter what I tried. My guess is that it has a bad cell, and I don't believe this will revive a bad or totally dead battery, but it sure has improved the performance of my batteries that were starting to get a little weaker with age. My seat of the pants guess on that tractor battery was that it went from maybe 50-60% of new, to close to 90%. If you have several batteries to maintain, my experience is that it would be a no-brainer to get some kind of desulfator, based on what I have seen. I don't know if this is the best one out there or not, as it is the only one I have used, but it does work, and has features I like. What I like:it works!Has a safety circuit that turns itself off if you connect it wrong, or if your battery is damaged internally. It starts off with a trickle charge, then when the battery is full, desulfates, while giving the battery a maintenance charge with no fear of overchargeComes with standard battery clamps, but also wires you can permanently connect to your battery, and plug into the unit when you want. There is a fuse in the leads to the battery, so if anything were to short out, it would blow the fuse, and not damage anything or start a fire. The display is easy to understand, and gives you a good idea of what is going on. It indicates approximate % of battery charge, and lets you know when it is charging or desulfating, and has an indicator for improper/loose connection, or totally bad battery. No need to remove the battery to use, just connect the clamps and plug it in.About the only negative I have, is the amount of time it takes to really work. I had it connected to my tractor for 18+ hours a day for about a week before I felt that it did all it could do. From my research, it doesn't seem to be much different than most other desulfators, so I assume it is just the nature of the beast.

Best charger on the market!
Works like a charm. I've brought several car batteries back to life with this charger. Be patient, dead batteries can take a few days to a week or so, but they will come back up. Also, when they get to 100%, let them stay on the charger as long as feasible for you. This is when the desulfication really kicks in. Sometimes you'll even notice the battery drop back to 75%, this is normal. At that point it's "blown" enough build up off the plates to drop the overall charge. I loaned mine to my step father to charge some old crusty dead batteries that had been laying around the farm. It brought all of them back but one. After I topped it back off with DISTILLED water, it was able to save it too. I had to literally sneak back to the farm and steal my charger back, he didn't want to part with it. Don't worry, he got his own for Xmas...One more thing. If a battery is too far gone, sometimes it will read bad battery or no connection. If you can hook another battery or charger in series with the dead one then attach the Pulsetech, you will trick it into thinking the battery has enough juice to charge. Once the Pulsetech starts, simply remove the other battery/charger and let it do it's thing.

Good unit
We have a lot of batteries in service on the farm and if nothing else, this unit is an excellent battery maintainer. It seems to be able to recover some borderline batteries so we can get another season of use out of them. There is no miracle cure for a bad battery but I think it does help recover some capacity. I can't stress enough to not let your batteries sit around in a vehicle/equipment unused for weeks or months at a time and end up discharged/frozen. Either drive it every few days or bring them in the shop for winter. Disconnect them at the very least if the vehicle is not being used frequently.

Died after only being used a few times
i don't normally write reviews, The charger just died after only being used a few times despite using a surge protector with the unit as recommended .. I'm rather disappointed with the poor quality of this item. Don't waste your money.

Works perfectly to equalize 6 volt golf cart batteries
Used this unit to equalize 2, 6 volt Trojan 105 225 amphour golf cart batteries connected in series used in my travel trailer. The batteries were 3 years old and although they charged up well they would drain at an unacceptable rate vs when new.I tested the specific gravity in all the cells, normal is 1.277 when fully charged, 3 of the cells had S.G. <1.250.Initially I purchased a Ctek charger to equalize the batteries and it failed miserably. Once I returned that unit and got a Plusetech I attached it to the batteries and monitored the S.G. every few days. In just over a week all the cells had an optimal S.G. of 1.277The Pulsetech does exactly what it is advertised to do, a great unit at a good price
